Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. exited in the first quarter of the team’s Week 12 game vs. the Detroit Lions. Below is the latest on the Colts wideout.
What Happened to Michael Pittman Jr.?
The Colts receiver has dealt with a litany of injuries this season, but he left in the first quarter because of a shoulder injury. The team deemed him questionable to return.

Fortunately, Pittman returned to the game on the team’s third drive at the start of the second quarter.
Pittman finished the game, recording game-highs in receptions (six) and receiving yards (96).
After the game, Colts head coach Shane Steichen didn’t provide an update on Pittman’s status, but the fact that he was able to return and produce at a high level suggests that he avoided a significant injury.
Pittman suffered a back injury that has hampered his production this season, as he was forced to sit out a game in Week 10 to recover.
However, he made it through last week’s win over the New York Jets without incident and was a full participant all week in practice leading up to Week 12.
