Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders Inactives
Note that the full inactive list is released by teams 90 minutes before kickoff. This list will be updated at that time.
Denver Broncos Week 12 Injury Report
Zach Allen, DT
Allen (heel) was a limited participant in Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raiders.
Allen had his full practice Thursday sandwiched between limited practices Wednesday and Friday, and he drawn the questionable tag heading into Sunday’s AFC West showdown.
If Allen is unable to play, Jordan Jackson and Eyioma Uwazurike would see an uptick in snaps at defensive end alongside starter John Franklin-Myers. Through 11 regular-season games, Allen has logged 42 tackles (24 solo), including 5.0 sacks, and one pass defensed.
Brandon Jones, S
Jones (abdomen) was listed as a full practice participant on Thursday’s and Friday’s injury report. He was sidelined for the Broncos’ Week 11 win over Atlanta due to an abdomen injury. He opened the week as a limited practice participant Wednesday, but he was able to participate in all team drills the remainder of the week.
Unless he suffers a setback, Jones should suit up for Sunday’s AFC West showdown against the Raiders. The fifth-year safety has logged 74 tackles (49 solo), three pass defenses (including one interception), one forced fumble and one fumble recovery over 10 regular-season games.
Josh Reynolds, WR
Josh Reynolds (hand) has been sidelined since Week 5 and will have to wait another week to suit up. While he’s fully practiced in every session over the past two weeks, he will again be ruled out for this Sunday’s game.
The Denver Broncos designated Reynolds for return on Nov. 13. They’ll have three weeks from that date to formally activate the veteran wideout to their active roster. His continued full participation would seem to suggest that a return is imminent.
Delarrin Turner-Yell, S
Turner-Yell (knee) will remain on the reserve/PUP list Wednesday, and his 21-day window to return will come to a close.
Turner-Yell tore the ACL, MCL, and meniscus in his left knee in the final game last season. He was designated to return from the PUP list Oct. 30, which allowed him to begin practicing with the team again. However, because he will not be moved back to the active roster before the 21-day window closes, he is now forced to remain on the PUP list for the remainder of the season.
Final Broncos Injury Report
Brandon Jones, S (Abdomen) – playing; P.J. Locke, S (Thumb) – playing; Ben Powers, G (Shoulder) – playing; Josh Reynolds, WR (Hand) – Out; Drew Sanders, LB (Achilles) – Out; Zach Allen, DE (NIR – rest/heel) – Questionable
Las Vegas Raiders Week 12 Injury Report
Jakorian Bennett, CB
Bennett (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. With Nate Hobbs (ankle) out last week against Miami, Bennett got the start at cornerback for Las Vegas, but he played two defensive snaps before getting hurt. Decamerion Richardson, Jack Jones and Darnay Holmes finished the game as the Raiders’ cornerbacks.
Harrison Bryant, TE
Bryant (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Broncos. He started the Raiders’ week of practice with a DNP but followed that up with consecutive limited sessions, suggesting that he could be trending toward playing in Sunday’s divisional matchup.
The first-year Raider has caught nine of his 12 targets for 86 yards through eight appearances this season. If Bryant is sidelined for the second consecutive game in Week 12, Justin Shorter is likely to serve as the Raiders’ No. 3 tight end.
Nate Hobbs, CB
Hobbs (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. Hobbs was injured in Week 9 against the Bengals and will miss his second consecutive contest. Decamerion Richardson, Jack Jones and Darnay Holmes paced the Raiders’ cornerbacks in playing time last Sunday against Miami.
Jack Jones, CB
Jones (back) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Broncos. Jones upgraded to limited participation in Friday’s practice after logging DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday, indicating he could be trending in the right direction ahead of the Week 12 divisional matchup.
The Raiders will be without their top three corners if Jones cannot suit up Sunday, as both Jakorian Bennett (shoulder) and Nate Hobbs (ankle) have already been ruled out. Darnay Holmes, Decamerion Richardson and Sam Webb are all expected see expanded roles in Las Vegas’ secondary.
Alexander Mattison, RB
Las Vegas Raiders RB Alexander Mattison did not practice this week due to an ankle injury and is doubtful for Sunday’s game. Before exiting Sunday’s loss to the Dolphins in the fourth quarter, Mattison posted five carries for 19 yards and three catches for 50 yards.
Raiders RB Zamir White also left Sunday’s game with a quad injury. He never practiced this week and is also considered doubtful for Week 12.
Las Vegas will be dealing with a shorthanded RB room heading into its Week 12 matchup against the Broncos.
On Friday, head coach Antonio Pierce said veteran Ameer Abdullah will be the Raiders’ starter vs. Denver if Mattison and White can’t play. Fifth-round rookie Dylan Laube will likely also be involved, while Vegas could promote an RB from its practice squad for depth.
Zamir White, RB
White (quadricep) will be listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. The same goes for Alexander Mattison (ankle), which sets the stage for the Raiders to likely be without both players this weekend.
If the duo is inactive versus Denver, Ameer Abdullah would be the expected starter at running back for Las Vegas, with Dylan Laube and Sincere McCormick also in the mix, per Vic Tafur of The Athletic.
