C.J. Stroud’s mom, Kimberly Stroud, isn’t just cheering from the sidelines — she’s leading the charge off the field too. The proud mother is rallying support for her son’s charity, proving she’s got just as much heart and hustle as her quarterback son.
While C.J. has been lighting up the Houston Texans’ offense, Kim’s been lighting up the charity scene, calling on fans to get behind a cause close to both of their hearts.
Kimberly Stroud Rallies Behind Son C.J. Stroud’s Mission
C.J.’s mom, Kim, is taking her support for her son’s charity to new heights, and she’s not shy about rallying the troops. When the Texans QB’s “My Cause My Cleats” campaign kicked off, Kim was quick to reshare a post from Lockerverse on X (formerly known as Twitter), sharing her pride and passion for the cause.
“I love this!, please repost,” Kim wrote. “C.J. ‘s cause this year is Single Mothers & Children of Incarcerated Parents, C.J. has experienced both personally, both causes are the focus of the C.J. Stroud Foundation 🙏.”
Her words aren’t just a call to action — they’re a powerful reminder of the emotions behind C.J.’s foundation.

C.J.’s charity does impactful work for the community, and this year, the focus is deeply personal. Supporting single mothers and children of incarcerated parents, causes C.J. has felt firsthand, the foundation aims to lift up those in need. But it’s not just about big-name causes as C.J. and his mother have made real strides in supporting Houston residents, especially in times of crisis.

After Hurricane Beryl touched Texas in June, C.J. knew he had to help. The tropical cyclone left 42 people dead in the Houston region and caused billions in damage. Partnering with Lowe’s and the C.J. Stroud Foundation, C.J. and his mother went to work. Kim, as president of the foundation, was on the frontlines, offering support and greeting fans as they helped with the community recovery effort.
For C.J., it’s all about giving back, and Kim’s words show just how much heart they’re putting into it. This is a family effort, and the community is feeling the love.
Stroud Warns: Titans’ Defense Is More Than Meets the Record
The Texans might be rolling at 7-4, but Stroud knows better than to sleep on the 2-8 Tennessee Titans. Why? Tennessee’s defense is no joke.
“They’re No. 1 on third downs, almost top 10 in every category we study,” the QB pointed out. “Jeffery Simmons is a beast. L’Jarius Sneed, when he’s in, is a game-changer. It’s going to be a challenge for us.”
And he’s not wrong. The Titans rank second in total defense, proving records don’t tell the whole story, though Sneed will be unavailable for the Week 12 matchup as he is headed to injured reserve. Stroud gets that, if Houston slips up, Tennessee could make life miserable. It’s talent versus grit — if the Texans want to stay hot, they’ll need to match the Titans’ fire, play for play.
