Latest Injury Report News and Updates

After a close loss to their division rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore is looking for a much-needed victory in Week 12 against Los Angeles. The Ravens could be forced to take on the surprising Chargers without two defensive starters on Monday night.

Baltimore’s first injury report of the week revealed that both linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) and defensive tackle Travis Jones (ankle) were non-participants in Thursday’s practice. Smith didn’t practice all week and was listed as questionable while Jones recorded one limited session on Saturday and was ruled as questionable.

If the Ravens are forced to play without Smith and/or Jones, it would be a monumental loss along Baltimore’s defensive front, especially given the Chargers’ reliance on their rushing attack.

The Chargers are also dealing with several injuries ahead of Monday night’s matchup. Los Angeles revealed that four players did not participate in Thursday’s practice, including rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (shoulder) and rookie cornerback Cam Hart (concussion/ankle).

However, both McConkey and Hart returned, with the WR seeing limited sessions on Friday and Saturday while the DB progressed from limited to full by the week’s end. Both were listed as questionable.

In Week 11, McConkey had a career-high in receiving yards (123) while he helped the Chargers outlast the Cincinnati Bengals in a shootout. If McConkey is unable to play against the Ravens, Los Angeles could have a hard time keeping up with Baltimore’s high-powered offense.
