Deion Sanders hate doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Shannon Sharpe Discusses Deion Sanders Critics

On Saturday’s episode of Night Cap, Sharpe highlighted the changes that happened in Boulder over the last two years, especially the 2024 season, which has been a major success for the team.

“When Deion was getting beat last year, everybody was talking about, I thought, I told y’all. I told y’all, now they win it. Oh, the conference ain’t any good?” Sharpe said, highlighting the hypocrisy of critics.

“I’ve never seen somebody undermine a man’s credibility, his ability to do what he’s done with the team. He told y’all. He said we coming. Give us some time. Nick Saban didn’t go to the College Football Playoff, he didn’t go to the national championship game his first year,” he added.

Sanders and his team now target a historic College Football Playoff spot by winning the Big 12 title game.

After the Week 12 win against the Utah Utes, the Buffs stand at 8-2 with two more games to go.

When Coach Prime Shuts Down Hate Talk After Roughness With Local Reporter

Before the 2024 regular season, the Colorado coach got into a heated argument with a local reporter during a press conference. This led media outlets and top analysts like Paul Finebaum to call him out over his attitude.

Reacting to these criticisms, Prime mentioned that his intentions heading into a new season were very clear, and he is someone who enjoys peace and love.

“I’m not a hateful guy,” Sanders told a reporter, per Bleacher Report. “I come with love. I think if anybody in here has had encounters with me, I don’t come with the bulljunk. I come with the peace and the joy. Now when you show me where you stand, I might have to change that a little bit, so I’m not going to match your ignorance,” he added.

The tables have turned now, with haters becoming Coach Prime fans. He also got linked to NFL coaching rumors, with a recent one about the Dallas Cowboys. However, he shut down all these theories, stating that he plans to stay in Colorado and revolutionize the program.
