Jameson Williams turned up the heat against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The wide receiver registered a 64-yard touchdown as the entire Detroit Lions unit shone against the Jags.
However, it is Williams’ celebration after reaching the goal line that has fans impressed. The WR paid homage to former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch with his celebratory dive.

Lynch had several memorable TD celebrations. However, his famous backward leap following his memorable “Beast Quake” was an exemplary showcase of his athleticism. In the third quarter, Williams showed the same spirit.
The 23-year-old embarked on a 64-yard run to the goal line and jumped back first while into the end zone. This clip went viral on X (formerly known as Twitter) as one NFL reporter posted it with the caption, “Jameson Williams just did the Marshawn Lynch after a 64-yard TD.”

Williams Is Potentially Facing Another Suspension
The wide receiver’s start hasn’t been great in the pro football arena. He has faced issues on and off the field in each of his three seasons in the NFL. In his rookie season, Williams missed more than half of the season due to a torn ACL. However, after that, he has faced two suspensions and could be looking at another one.
Last season he was one of the four Lions players suspended for violating NFL’s gambling policy. He was suspended for four weeks as a result of this. Earlier this season, Williams was suspended for two games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy.
While the WR was serving that suspension, it was reported in October that he was detained by the Detroit police. He was not charged for carrying a weapon in his car without proper papers.
The NFL has been made aware of this issue by the Lions. However, suspension on it has not been declared yet.
