    Houston Texans Injury Report

    C.J. Stroud, QB

C.J. Stroud was a full participant with a right hand injury on Thursday and Friday’s injury report. While Stroud has taken plenty of abuse in recent weeks amid poor pass protection, this doesn’t seem to be anything that would place his status in jeopardy for Monday night. He was not listed on the final injury report.

    Dameon Pierce, RB

Pierce (groin) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Monday’s contest against the Cowboys. This was to be expected after Pierce practiced fully Friday. The backup running back will be poised to retain his role behind one of the better backs in the NFL this year, Joe Mixon.

    Nico Collins, WR

Nico Collins opened Week 11 with a limited practice on Thursday due to his hamstring injury. Collins was activated off injured reserve prior to Week 10 but did not suit up vs. the Lions.

Crucially, Collins was upgraded to a full practice on Friday. He also told reporters that he’s “100% ready to go” for MNF against the Cowboys.

Collins did not practice until Friday last week, so it’s promising for his return that he started off Week 11 at practice right away. The NFL’s leading receiver through Week 5, Collins has missed five straight games but carries no injury designation and will return Monday night. He’s an immediate must-start regardless of the time missed.

    Will Anderson, DE

Anderson, who sat out Friday’s practice due to an ankle injury, won’t play Week 11 at Dallas on Monday night.

Anderson will miss a second straight game, but he is not a candidate for injured reserve. Wilson reports his recovery from a high-ankle sprain is going well.

The Texans hope he can return within the next few weeks in preparation for the stretch run in December. A host of depth defensive linemen replaced Anderson in last week’s loss to the Lions.

All Texans’ Designations for Week 11

Will Anderson Jr., DE (Ankle) – Out; Foley Fatukasi, DT (Foot) – Out; Kamari Lassiter, CB (Concussion) – Questionable; Derek Stingley Jr., CB (Hip) – Playing; Azeez Al-Shaair, LB (Knee) – Playing; Nico Collins, WR (Hamstring) – Playing; Blake Fisher, T (Concussion) – Out; Jake Hansen, LB (Ankle) – Playing; Dameon Pierce, RB (Groin) – Playing; Laremy Tunsil, T (Knee) – Playing; Jeff Okudah, CB (Quad) – Questionable; C.J. Stroud, QB (Right Hand) – Playing; Dylan Horton, DE (Shoulder) – Playing

    Dallas Cowboys Injury Report

    Cooper Rush, QB

Cooper Rush was a full participant with a neck injury on at all three practices ahead of the Cowboys’ Week 11 Monday night game. Rush doesn’t appear to be in any jeopardy of missing a start due to injury. However, another subpar performance could open the door for Dallas to take a look at former third overall pick Trey Lance.

    CeeDee Lamb, WR

Lamb was added to the injury report Saturday with a back injury and is listed as questionable for Monday’s contest against the Texans.

This is a significant development, given Lamb did not appear on the injury report at any point throughout the week. We’ll have to await more information before Monday’s 8:15 p.m. ET primetime kickoff.

Given Lamb’s status as one of the best wide receivers in the league and his surprising injury development, fantasy managers should expect at least one more update before the games kick off on Sunday.

Head coach Mike McCarthy suggested he wasn’t worried about Lamb’s status. The All-Pro was added to the injury report Saturday with a back injury. “I’m not of high concern” about Monday’s status.

This is obviously encouraging, given Lamb’s status will bear the utmost importance being the final game of the Week 11 slate, but fantasy managers should still be looking for more information. The fifth-year wide receiver has missed just one game in his career, all the way back in the 2021-22 season.

    Jake Ferguson, TE

Jake Ferguson did not practice to begin the week, recording a DNP on Thursday with an illness. Fortunately, he returned for a full practice on Friday and was not listed on Saturday’s final injury report. Barring a setback, Gefdrguson should be ready for Monday night vs. the Texans.

Ferguson has been one of the more underwhelming tight ends in fantasy this season. Ferguson enters Week 11 as the TE12 by PPR points per game. His 42 receptions do rank sixth among tight ends, but he has yet to reach the end zone and is averaging a meager 44.8 receiving yards per game.

The third-year pro had just four catches for 24 yards last week in the team’s first game without Dak Prescott. Given the woeful quarterback situation, Ferguson is a very shaky start, regardless of the opposition.
