Rich Eisen isn’t holding back when it comes to Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys’ future. The NFL analyst just dropped some awesome draft advice. With the 2025 NFL Draft looming, Eisen’s urging Dallas to lock eyes on a top-tier prospect, Ashton Jeanty.
The only question now: Will Jerry Jones listen? Let’s dive into why this potential pick could be a game-changer for the Cowboys’ next chapter.
Rich Eisen Calls Jerry Jones To Draft Can’t-Miss RB
Eisen’s pulling no punches when it comes to the 2025 NFL Draft. On “The Rich Eisen Show,” he made a bold call that could shake stuff up in Dallas: draft Jeanty. Eisen declared, “One million percent — Cowboys should draft him no matter where they wind up. … Come on, man, that’s a no-brainer.”
He didn’t stop there, though. The analyst passionately broke it down, saying Big D just can’t miss on Jeanty. It’s not just obvious — it’s “blinding,” as Eisen poked fun at the controversial sunlight inside of Dallas’ stadium.
“It’s like it’s coming straight through the window. It’s not low-hanging, it’s right there in front of you.”

So why’s Jeanty such a no-brainer for Dallas? The Boise State RB has lit up college football. In 2023, he rushed for 1,347 yards, 14 TDs, and added 569 receiving yards (the most of any RB in the nation).
In 2024, Jeanty took it to another level, breaking a 46-year-old record with 267 yards and six TDs in a season opener against Georgia Southern. With stats like these, it’s no surprise he’s a top 2025 draft prospect and a Heisman candidate to boot.
So, Jones, if you’re out there listening, don’t sleep on this one. Draft Jeanty and let him light it up in Big D.
Ashton Jeanty Claims Heisman, Shakes Up Race With Travis Hunter
The Heisman race just got a little hotter, and Jeanty’s throwing his hat in with some serious swagger. Asked if he deserves the trophy, the star RB didn’t flinch — “Me for sure,” he said, backing himself 100%.
While he gave props to Travis Hunter for his wild two-way play at Colorado, Jeanty isn’t backing down. “I give credit where it’s due; Travis is phenomenal. But what I’m doing, it’s special. I watch him play, and he’s incredible, but I know my talent, and I believe I’m the best player in college football.”
Jeanty’s all about his game, and he’s not just running the ball — he’s running this Heisman race like it’s his. As both teams stay in the playoff hunt, it’s clear: this race is about to get a whole lot more interesting.
