Seattle Seahawks at San Francisco 49ers Inactives

Note that the full inactive list is released by teams 90 minutes before kickoff. This list will be updated at that time.

    Seattle Seahawks Injury Report

    DK Metcalf, WR

DK Metcalf is officially back. The Seahawks’ WR1 returned to practice this week for the first time since injuring his knee in Week 7 and is ready to go against the division-rival 49ers on Sunday.

While Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters that Metcalf would be limited for Wednesday’s practice, he actually wound up practicing in full. He did the same thing Thursday and Friday before being removed from the club’s injury report.

Metcalf was leading Seattle in targets and receptions when he went down last month. He’s since been usurped by Jaxon Smith-Njigba in targets and catches, but the two now have the exact same yardage total (568) on the season.

JSN was a target hog in the Seahawks’ last game before their Week 10 bye, catching seven passes on 13 targets for 180 yards and two touchdowns against the Rams. Metcalf’s return to the lineup in Week 11 will likely lower Smith-Njigba’s ceiling.

    Noah Fant, TE

Noah Fant did not play in Week 9 due to a groin strain. Even with the team’s Week 10 bye to rest, Fant has still not recovered from the injury. He did not practice this week and will not suit up in Week 11. Rookie A.J. Barner will start in Fant’s place.

    Other Seahawks Injuries

    San Francisco 49ers Injury Report

    Christian McCaffrey, RB

After playing his first game of the season on Sunday, Christian McCaffrey was limited for practice both Wednesday and Thursday.

However, this is nothing to be concerned about. 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that Wednesday’s limited practice was part of CMC’s maintenance program. He did not experience a flare-up with his Achilles injury.

On Friday, the 49ers removed McCaffrey from their injury report. He won’t bring a designation into Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.

As expected, San Francisco didn’t hold McCaffrey back in Week 10. He was deployed at his usual extreme rate, playing 88% of the club’s offensive while handling 13 carries and receiving seven targets.

While he didn’t score a touchdown, CMC’s six catches were enough to propel him to an RB11 finish in PPR leagues. It’s good to have one of the best fantasy assets of all time back on the field.

    Jauan Jennings, WR

After not appearing on Wednesday’s injury report, Jauan Jennings was a new addition on Thursday as limited with an ankle injury. This is different from the hip injury that caused Jennings to miss two games earlier this season.

However, the 49ers removed Jennings from their injury report heading into Week 11. He’s good to go for Sunday’s contest.

Jennings had a successful return in Week 10 vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, recording a team-high seven receptions for 93 yards. Jennings played a season-high 90.2% of the snaps as well, showing no limitations.

    George Kittle, TE

George Kittle emerged from Sunday’s win with a hamstring injury and did not practice on Wednesday. However, the word was that he was expected to practice Thursday, and the tight end followed through with a limited session.

Kyle Shanahan suggested that Kittle is not dealing with a significant injury. As long as he can participate again on Friday, Kittle should be ready to face the Seahawks in Week 11.

    Other 49ers Injuries

Nick Bosa, DL (Hip) – Questionable; Kevin Givens, DL (Groin) – Out; Charvarius Ward, CB (Personal Matter) – Out; Trent Williams, T (Ankle, not injury related – resting player) – Questionable; Mitch Wishnowsky, P (Back) – Out; Chris Conley, WR (Hamstring) – Playing; Jon Feliciano, OL (Knee) – Questionable; Renardo Green, CB (Toe) – Playing; Yetur Gross-Matos, DL (Knee) – Questionable; Darrell Luter Jr., CB (Pelvis) – Doubtful; Aaron Banks, OL (Thigh) – Questionable
