One NFL analyst highlighted the tough road ahead for Joe Burrow as the Bengals face off against the Chargers to keep their season alive.

Joe Burrow has been on fire this season. His skills and tenacity were on display last week against the Baltimore Ravens.

However, the Cincinnati Bengals lost the game 34-35. Now the NFL quarterback turned analyst Dan Orlovsky reminds the team that their season is on the line.

Burrow scored 4 touchdowns while throwing for 428 yards last week but couldn’t help his team to win. On ESPN’s Get Up, Orlovsky wants a similar output from the 27-year-old, to keep their season alive.

“Yeah, [Bengals season is over if they lose]. And it’s the biggest game for Joe Burrow on the Bengals since the playoffs two years ago,” said Orlovsky. “You’re going against the number one defense in the NFL, the Los Angeles Chargers.”

Orlovsky further went on to caution that Burrow’s outing against the Chargers will not be easy. “Average game for a quarterback against them is about 195 yards, a touchdown, a pick, three sacks. Good luck,” said Orlovsky.

“Okay, the reality is this, win and stay alive. Lose and you’ve wasted an MVP season from your quarterback and really a triple crown receiving season from Ja’Marr Chase,” he added.

Joe Burrow Is Prepared To Face the Chargers

The Bengals are 4-6 and placed 9th in the playoff picture heading into this Week 11 game. Burrow understands the moment’s gravity and is prepared to give it his all. “It’s a big one, he said on Wednesday to the media.

“Prime time, so I’m always excited to showcase what we can do in that situation, and we know we got to go win it,” continued Burrow. “Our possessions will probably be limited, just like when we played the old Baltimore teams.”

“They’re going to run the ball well, get into manageable third downs, they’re not going to turn it over, they’re going to keep everything in front on defense and try to shorten the game.”

The Bengals will visit the Chargers on Sunday, Nov. 17. The Sunday Night Football game will kick off at SoFi Stadium at 8:20 p.m. ET.
