Entering the 2024 NFL season, all eyes were on the Chicago Bears to see if this team could make some noise. Edwards, and Cole Kmet.

What PFN Predicted for the Packers vs. Bears Matchup

Chicago is reeling from three straight losses, including a home loss in Week 10 to New England, which resulted in the firing of offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. Now they face a Packers team getting healthy off the bye.

The Bears are on an active streak of 23 straight drives without a touchdown, a miserable streak even by Chicago’s offensively challenged standards. Over the past 20 seasons, that’s tied for the Bears’ second-longest streak of drives without a touchdown.

Williams is down to 30th in EPA per dropback (-0.13) despite improving that figure in each of his first six career games. Williams has particularly struggled when pressured, posting the third-worst EPA per dropback (-0.61) when pressured. That’s concerning considering that he’s been pressured at the second-highest rate (46.3%) since Week 7, behind only C.J. Stroud.

As for the other quarterback, Packers quarterback Jordan Love has labored to recover from a Week 1 knee injury that caused him to miss the next two games. Love has the second-highest interception rate in the league, trailing only Will Levis. He’ll now face a Chicago defense that ranks first in EPA per dropback.

This is also a matchup between two of the best teams in turnover margin, which plays a significant role in every game. Chicago is tied for the fourth-best turnover margin (+8), while Green Bay is tied for seventh-best (+6).

Green Bay is currently listed as a six-point favorite and the total for the game sits at 41.0.
