Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter Discuss New Room on Podcast

During a light-hearted conversation with teammate and fellow NFL prospect Travis Hunter on his 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders podcast, Shedeur opened up about his new room setup, courtesy of his dad, whose net worth is $45 million.

The two cracked jokes as Hunter recalled spending time fishing at Coach Prime’s house. When Hunter joked about using Shedeur’s room, Shedeur playfully demanded $1,500 per night, adding, “I need that hotel rate!”

But beneath the banter, Shedeur expressed genuine gratitude. “I’m just thankful that he built it, cuz I know the cost of living at this point in life now and I know that wasn’t cheap.” [02:25]

Shedeur continues to dominate on the field, and he’s clearly keeping his family’s support close to heart.

Pat McAfee Has Shedeur Sanders’ Destination in Mind

As the hype builds for Sanders, fans and analysts speculate about where he might land in the NFL. Former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee, host of The Pat McAfee Show, has added his two cents to the fire with a bold theory — suggesting the Las Vegas Raiders as Sanders’ ideal destination.

The Raiders are facing uncertainty at quarterback as Gardner Minshew II and Desmond Ridder are not making it work for head coach Antonio Pierce. McAfee believes Sanders’ talent and star power could stabilize the franchise.

“The internet has reported that after every Raiders loss, Shedeur Sanders has put out thank you God tweets,” McAfee said, hinting at a subtle connection. “Feels like the right home for Shedeur Sanders, especially with a team that’s trying to find an identity.” [01:30]

Son of former Dallas Cowboys star Deion Sanders, Shedeur has built a strong case for himself in the 2024 college season, boasting 2,591 passing yards and 21 touchdowns so far.

He has helped Colorado push toward bowl eligibility, catching the attention of NFL scouts. NFL veteran Darius Butler is also on the Sanders bandwagon, praising the quarterback’s versatility.

“He’s one of those guys that does everything… Whoever you are, whatever you are, everything you say about him, cause he’s done it on the HBCU level. Then he came up. He’s doing it at Colorado. So he’s gonna remember everything he’s been saying and he’s gonna stack those chips and continue with it,” Butler said.

The countdown to the 2025 NFL Draft has begun, and if McAfee’s theory holds, we may soon see Sanders in Silver and Black.
