However, fans around the football world are confused over this decision. While some agree with the call made by the Panthers, others disagree, and both camps made their voices heard.

Hubbard was drafted by the Panthers in 2021 and has seen his game time continue to increased over the years. This season, the 25-year-old has started six games and has registered 485 yards for 86 carries and two touchdowns.
The RB’s contract extension was revealed by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport on X (previously Twitter).
“Sources: The Panthers have locked in one of their young stars, agreeing to terms with RB Chuba Hubbard on 4-year, $33.2M contract extension. He gets a max value of $37.2M with $15M in new fully guaranteed money,” Rapoport tweeted.

Hubbard Is Excited for Brooks To Make Debut
The world hasn’t been able to witness Brooks’ explosive abilities since the 21-year-old has been recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in college. Yet, Brooks has now been activated and will potentially be used in Munich against the New York Giants.
Hubbard also shared his thoughts on Brooks.
“JB is, I think I said it time and time again, a special talent and also a great guy,” Hubbard said. “Me and him have created a great friendship and I’m looking forward to getting on the field. He’s looking really good so far.”
Brooks also narrated his entire experience of rehabbing and getting fit as a “blessing.” The fans eagerly wait for him to take his first snap in a Panthers jersey.
