Travis Kelce helped the Kansas City Chiefs win 27-20 against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. The game was exciting for him as he scored his first touchdown of the season. However, the Chiefs tight end had a memorable exchange with Raiders rookie Brock Bowers.
Kelce, Bowers Exchange Jerseys After Week 8 Clash
After the final whistle, Kelce and Bowers shared a jersey swap moment at Allegiant Stadium on Oct. 27. The 35-year-old topped off by telling his counterpart, “Happy as hell for you. Keep doing your thing. I’m gonna shoot my jersey to your locker.”
It was a fantastic moment, especially as it added the cherry on the National Tight Ends Day cake. It also added a bright moment for the rising rookie tight end, who joined the Raiders as a first-round pick and has been making waves with his remarkable skills, bringing out plenty of fan reactions.
Bowers’ girlfriend, Cameron Rose Newell, reshared the NFL’s Instagram post of the exchange, captioning it with a simple crown emoji.
Bowers earned two national championships with the Georgia Bulldogs before entering the NFL.
Since starting his professional journey this year, the California native has started to shine, making seven game appearances.
Brock Bowers Is Having a Record-Breaking Rookie Year
The former UGA champion is quietly setting records in his debut NFL season. He has already snagged 47 receptions through his first seven games, the highest count by a tight end in that stretch since 2000, placing him third all-time for any player in their first seven games. The accolades bring him right behind standout names like Puka Nacua and Saquon Barkley.
With 477 receiving yards so far, he’s leading NFL tight ends, earning respect from seasoned players like Kelce.
Brock Bowers leads all TEs in receptions (2nd among all receivers) and receiving yards. He's a rookie btw. 😳

Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce praised him via ESPN, saying, “Even when he’s covered, he’s open… he catches everything around him.”
Drafted 13th overall, the Raiders’ offensive weapon has more than justified the pick, filling a crucial offensive gap left by Michael Mayer. Seen as a “Swiss Army knife” on the field, the rookie tight end’s agility and physicality make him one of the game’s most versatile and dynamic players.
