Where Did Xavier Restrepo Project in Our 7-Round NFL Mock Draft?

In the latest mock draft from Pro Football Network NFL Draft Analyst Ian Cummings, Restrepo was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the fourth round at pick No 111. While Marvin Harrison, Jr. added a dynamic weapon for Kyler Murray, there are plenty of questions about the rest of the receiving core, which includes Michael Wilson, Greg Dortch, and Zay Jones.

Restepo has the chance to make an immediate impact and is now driving up draft boards nationwide. Don’t be surprised if he becomes a day-two pick next April.

Potential NFL Landing Spots for Restrepo

According to PFN’s updated NFL team needs, these are a few of the organizations that should prioritize wide receiver in the 2025 NFL Draft.

    Restrepo’s Scouting Report and Measurements

    • Height: 5’10”
    • Weight: 198 pounds
    • Position: Wide Receiver
    • School: Miami
    • Current Year: Senior

The First-Team All-ACC wideout started slowly in his college career, with just a solitary catch as a freshman. Year two saw him play in every game for the Hurricanes, but the true breakout came last season, as the all-conference performer went over 1,000 yards on 85 catches and six touchdowns.

It took him 12 games to reach that touchdown total in 2023. He has accomplished that feat in just seven games this season.

Restrepo has been the No. 1 option for perhaps the No. 1 QB in the nation in Miami’s Cam Ward. Restrepo gives the Hurricane a true lid-lifting option that gives defenses fits. Restrepo averages an impressive 17.6 yards per catch this season, the second-highest mark in the nation of any player with 39 or more catches.

While lacking elite height, Restrepo boasts 4.4 40 explosiveness, plus hands and sharp route-running capabilities while excelling as a deep threat.

Restrepo’s 2024 Season Stats and Game Breakdowns

    • Receptions: 39
    • Receiving Yards: 686
    • Receiving TD: 6
    • Receiving Yards per Game: 98.0
    • Yards per Reception: 17.6

Restrepo has come on as of late, especially over his last two games, where he has combined for 14 receptions for 264 yards and a touchdown. He had seven catches in both wins at Cal and Louisville and posted a season-high 163 yards against the Golden Bears.

Restrepo will look to keep his dominance going in the second half of the college football season. Should Miami keep to its winning ways, don’t be surprised to hear his name as potentially the fifth WR off the board in the draft.

    When Is Restrepo Playing Today?

The No. 6 Miami Hurricanes play in the primetime spotlight on Saturday night, Oct. 26 as they welcome in-state rival Florida State on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET

The 7-0 Hurricanes have rolled this season, while the Seminoles cannot get out of the blocks at just 1-6.
