‘This Won’t End Well’ – NFL Fans Predict Raiders’ Doom as Jack Jones Takes Shots at Patrick Mahomes

    Published on

NFL fans blast CB Jack Jones for targeting Patrick Mahomes before the Las Vegas Raiders' crucial home game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes has cemented himself as one of the best quarterbacks of this generation. Rarely do other teams try and get inside his head. However, the Las Vegas Raiders have employed a different strategy.

Raiders cornerback Jack Jones made his declaration against Mahomes on Thursday. However, NFL fans predict that Jones’ words might come back to bite him.

Jack Jones Isn’t Intimidated by Patrick Mahomes

Earlier this year, the Raiders players were caught having fun at Mahomes’ expense with a Kermit the Frog doll. Now, Jones has issued a clarification as well. In an interview on Thursday, Jones stated that he isn’t intimidated by Mahomes.

He further added, “I don’t think anybody in this locker room is intimidated by him (Patrick Mahomes).” The 26-year-old specified that Mahomes is a good player like several others in the league.

However, NFL fans believe that Jones’ words will work as added motivation for Mahomes. “LoL, this won’t end well for the Raiders, or for whoever this Jack Jones fella is either,” replied one fan on X (previously Twitter).

“Mahomes gonna juke the soul out his body lmfao,” wrote one fan.

“Someone calling out the Chiefs again,” tweeted another fan.

“JJ should be shutting his mouth,” added one fan.

“The way you’ve been talking I’d be quiet bro,” tweeted one fan.

“He will show them,” replied one Chiefs fan.

Patrick Mahomes Is Evolving His Game To Suit the Team

By all metrics, Mahomes is going through one of the worst seasons of his career. With 1,389 yards (13th in the league), Mahomes has thrown only six TDs and eight interceptions. His passer rating of 82.5 is far below his career average of 102.5. Yet, the Chiefs are undefeated at 6-0.

“I just don’t think it’s normal for what you’ve seen from us because there’s not a lot of passing touchdowns,” Mahomes said this week. “There’s been a lot of turnovers, especially by me. So, I think it’s just showing the versatility of our team.”

“It’s not just about me,” the two-time NFL MVP further added. “It’s not just about the stats and the light show and stuff like that. It’s about playing team football.”

The Chiefs and Raiders will settle their divisional rivalry this Sunday at Allegiant Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET.
