It’s no secret that Nick Sirianni is under pressure to save his job. The Philadelphia Eagles were 2-2 coming into Week 6, and their head coach needed a win to possibly keep his job.
The Eagles did the job and came away with a 20-16 win at home against the Cleveland Browns. However, the game was in no way easy for them, and the team still does not look like a Super Bowl contender.
Nick Sirianni Had Some Words for Eagles Fans After Win vs. Browns
After the Eagles’ win against the Browns, Sirianni was spotted chirping words at the fans. When asked about it in the post-game press conference, the Eagles head coach said, “I’m just excited to get the win. It’s hard to win in this league, so we are just excited to get the win.”

The Eagles’ fans are well known for booing their players and coaches whenever they play poorly or lose the game. Today, Sirianni returned the favor after winning the game, and he will hope that it does not come back to bite him.
The Eagles are now 3-2 on the season but are still yet to play their best football. Hopefully, Jalen Hurts and Co. will build on the win against the Browns and go on a winning streak to put them in position to win the NFC East.
Hurts threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns against the Browns. A.J. Brown, in his first game back from a hamstring injury, finished the game with six receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown.
Despite many wanting the Eagles to prioritize running the ball, Saquon Barkley had only 18 carries, and the team relied on the passing game to win the game.
Sirianni, Eagles Will Face the New York Giants in Week 7
The Eagles will now shift their focus to their Week 7 opponents, the New York Giants. The Giants are set to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night and are 2-3 on the season.
Hurts has a 5-3 record against the Giants in his career. In those eight games, he has thrown for 1,130 yards, five touchdowns, and six interceptions with a passer rating of 71.3.
As these stats show, the Eagles quarterback has not played well against the Giants in his career. However, he now has Barkley on his team, who will be determined to put on a show in New York next week in front of his former team’s fans.

Despite the win against the Browns, Sirianni’s job is not safe. Unless the Eagles don’t win three or four games in a row, there will be constant speculations about his future with the team
Sirianni became the Eagles head coach in 2021. He has a record of 37-19 as their head coach in the regular season and is 2-3 in the playoffs.
