The Chicago Bears have been enjoying an offensive explosion in recent weeks, but they will potentially head into their bye week with question marks over the health of wide receiver DJ Moore after the wide receiver was hurt in the second half against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
Let’s examine the latest news on Moore’s injury and what it might mean for fantasy football managers.
What Happened to DJ Moore?
Moore was shaken up on a 3rd-and-10 play by the Bears. He left the field under his own power but headed straight to the medical tent. Moore got up reasonably quickly, and some reports from beat writers suggested that he looked okay.
Moore was not on the field for the remainder of the drive as Caleb Williams found Keenan Allen in the corner of the end zone for a touchdown.

Moore was back in for the start of the next series and caught a pass from Williams that was initially ruled a touchdown but was then overturned. He did not look worse for wear during the series and appeared to have avoided a serious injury.
Moore finished Sunday’s victory with four catches for 20 yards while playing 85% of Chicago’s offensive snaps.
Through six games, Moore has one fantasy WR1 finish, two weeks as a WR2, and three weeks outside the top 40 wideouts.
Potential Fantasy Fallout of an Injury to Moore
Chicago’s offense is an intriguing one from a fantasy perspective right now. They’ve spread the ball around a lot during this game in London, with four players having four or more targets (Allen, Moore, Cole Kmet, and D’Andre Swift).
The Bears have also leaned heavily on Swift in the run game, carrying the ball 15 times with over 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter. That sharing around of the offense makes it hard to know who would benefit from a fantasy perspective if Moore missed time.
Odunze was second on the team in targets entering this week (29), but Allen was slightly ahead on a per-game basis, averaging 6.67 targets per game in his three games. Allen has also had more targets than Odunze in Week 6.
Both would likely see more opportunities if Moore missed time in the coming weeks. Kmet and Swift could also benefit from some extra looks in the passing game.
