The Buffalo Bills and New York Jets square off tonight on Monday Night Football with first place in the AFC East on the line.

The Bills, meanwhile, are looking to rebound from last week’s road loss while snuffing out any spark the change at head coach could give Aaron Rodgers and the Jets.

Latest Injury Report News and Updates

The Bills listed 16 players on their injury report this week, with nearly a dozen of them being regular contributors and starters. This includes the starting quarterback, starting running back, and three of the top four receivers.

The biggest name on the list is quarterback Josh Allen, who is listed with both left hand and ankle injuries but who also was assessed for a concussion during last week’s game in Houston. The good news, though, is Allen was a full participant in practice this week and is expected to play.

Two other important names to watch are running back James Cook and receiver Khalil Shakir, both of whom haven’t practiced this week. Cook was injured during last week’s loss to the Texans, while Shakir was injured two weeks ago.

The Jets also listed their starting quarterback on this week’s report, as Aaron Rodgers is managing an ankle injury. Just as is the case with Allen and the Bills, though, the Jets expect to have Rodgers in the lineup.

For New York, it’s the defense that is affected most by injuries. Star inside linebacker C.J. Mosley is listed with a toe injury, while nickel cornerback Michael Carter II is listed with a back injury. Mosley has worked as a limited participant in practice this week, but Carter has not practiced.
