Taylor Swift is Travis Kelce’s girlfriend and the apple of the eye of Kansas City Chiefs fans. Her presence has become somewhat of a good luck charm for the Chiefs, and with the team eyeing a 5-0 record, her attendance at the upcoming Week 5 game is highly anticipated.
Swift made her presence felt when the Chiefs played the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. However, she has been a no-show for the last two weeks.
After missing out on her boyfriend’s birthday celebrations, fans speculated whether Swift would arrive at the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium for the Cheifs’ showdown against the New Orleans Saints.

On Oct. 5, Kelce’s 35th birthday, he hosted a charity event marked the “Kelce Car Jam,” where friends and family gathered to raise money for children.

While Swift was absent from the festivities, the Chiefs tight end said that she would attend Monday Night Football in Kansas City.
Why Did Swift Miss Travis Kelce’s Birthday?
Swift’s absence from Chiefs matchups against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium, both road games, sent fans into a frenzy. However, the tipping point for Swift and the Kansas City faithful came when she missed her boyfriend’s birthday festivities.
As reported, Swoft stayed away from the spotlight for two reasons. First, she had been busy rehearsing for her “Eras Tour” show in Miami on Oct. 18. Her jammed-up schedule also kept her away from the festivities and, subsequently, Chiefs games.

The second and more pressing reason is the lingering security concerns for the global pop icon. “If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns,” informed a Page Six source.
This tracks given Swift’s canceled show in Vienna and ongoing criticism of Kelce’s performance for the team this season. However, Swift is now one of Kansas City’s own, and she’s making it to as many games as possible this season.
Taylor Swift Eras Tour Schedule 2024
Swift has nine shows left in the United States until she moves on to the Canadian leg of her global tour. It is safe to assume that even if she is in Canada, it wouldn’t be too difficult for her to find a way back to Kansas City to cheer on Kelce.
