Takeaways from Patriots Injury Report
- Sow, the Patriots’ top left guard, didn’t play in Week 1 and hasn’t practiced since suffering an ankle injury in the preseason finale. He seemingly is a long shot to play in Sunday’s road home game against the Seattle Seahawks.Should Sow be unable to play, practice squad guard Michael Jordan could be elevated to start for the second straight week.

- Peppers, Uche, Jennings, Lowe, and Gibson all played through their injuries in Week 1, so there currently isn’t much reason to doubt their statuses for Sunday’s home opener. Lowe appears primed to start at left tackle following Chukwuma Okorafor’s benching against the Cincinnati Bengals.

- Wise dealt with a hamstring injury before the season opener but now is nursing a shoulder ailment. It’s unclear whether he suffered the injury in the Bengals game or during Wednesday’s practice.
- It’s interesting that Jerod Mayo already is granting rest days. It’s hard to recall Bill Belichick ever doing so this early in a season, especially for young players like Stevenson.
- The Patriots will practice again on Thursday and Friday before holding a closed walkthrough on Saturday. Sunday’s game against the Seahawks is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET.
