It’s that time of year. If you’re reading this, you have your fantasy football roster pulled up and, even if you don’t want to admit it, you’re wondering, “How am I going to mess up this beautiful roster that I put together?”
We’ve all been there. Don’t worry, I’m a professional.
Well, at the very least, I try hard. Really hard. And with that, I present to you my Week 1 fantasy rankings that have far too much data supporting them to possibly be wrong.

The Top Kickers To Start in Week 1
Tyler Bass, Buffalo Bills (vs. Cardinals)
Bass was a top-five fantasy kicker in three of four games to open last season, and with this projected to be one of the five highest scoring games of the week, he should be considered a good bet to produce in a similar fashion to start this season.
Tyler Bass makes a 45 yard FG to give the Bills the lead with seconds remaining!

Only the Washington Commanders allowed more points per drive last season than the Arizona Cardinals, and with the Buffalo Bills overhauling their receiver corps, it’s possible that those deep drives stall out a bit more often than they did in 2023.
Kicking in Buffalo isn’t always ideal, but there won’t be any weather concerns in Upstate New York this time of year — play Bass (54+ yard FGM in all four of his seasons) with confidence.
Younghoe Koo, Atlanta Falcons (vs. Steelers)
Insert joke about Arthur Smith limiting the fantasy appeal of everyone.
Koo, like all of his teammates, should benefit from a heightened scoring environment, but let’s not ignore his success from last season (five top-five finishes). Kicking indoors is never going to be a bad thing; with the Steelers returning the fifth-best red-zone defense, Koo’s floor/ceiling combination is among the most promising at the position.
You can count on Koo — this week and moving forward. And, hey, don’t rule out the satisfaction that comes with a Koo-centirc corny team name.
- Gung Ho for Younghoe
- Too Koo for School
