Los Angeles Rams 2025 7-Round Mock Draft: Kenneth Grant Completes Front With Kobie Turner, Braden Fiske

In this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, the Rams' defensive front reaches its full potential, and a new quarterback takes his place behind Matthew Stafford.

With this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, can the Los Angeles Rams sustain their strength and maintain their standing in the NFC playoff race? The first step is attacking the remaining holes on the roster, and that’s what this mock entails.

Who Could the Los Angeles Rams Draft in the 2025 NFL Draft?

Note: The draft order for the 2025 NFL Mock Draft was derived from my record and playoff predictions for the 2024 NFL regular season.

1.29) Los Angeles Rams: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

In my last 2025 NFL Mock Draft, I made the same pick for the Los Angeles Rams—only 10 spots higher. If Kenneth Grant is there for them, I’m not passing him up.

The Rams need a nose tackle to pair with Kobie Turner and Braden Fiske, and Grant is one of the better functional nose tackles to hit the circuit in recent years with his strength and agility.

3.93) Los Angeles Rams: Ricardo Hallman, CB, Wisconsin

The Rams don’t have stringent size parameters at CB like other teams, so Ricardo Hallman — a 5’10”, 185-pound high-IQ ball-hawk — should be well on their radar.

    Rounds 4-7

    4.126) Austin Barber, OT, Florida
    6.180) Ricky White, WR, UNLV
    6.190) Jestin Jacobs, LB, Oregon
    6.193) Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

Rams 2025 NFL Mock Draft Analysis

As one might be able to tell from my placement of the Rams on the draft order, I’m high on what Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford can do in 2024. But I’ll be even higher on this team once they take the necessary steps in the 2025 NFL Draft.

One of the most important remaining tasks for Les Snead is to find a true long-term nose tackle.

Bobby Brown III has had his moments, but there are multiple upgrade candidates in the 2025 NFL Draft class — the best of whom is Michigan’s Kenneth Grant.

A freak athlete at 6’3″, 339 pounds, who also has easy leverage acquisition skills, Grant would be the perfect 0-tech alongside Turner and Fiske, and that complete interior trio would, in turn, make life easier for Jared Verse and Byron Young on the outside.

Grant is the most important player in this mock, but the other selections bear noting as well. Hallman can be a steal at CB with his instincts, route recognition skills, and nose for the football. And Jacobs is another high-upside addition at the second level.

The rest of the picks rested on the offensive side of the ball. Austin Butler is an intriguing developmental tackle with easily noticeable athletic gifts. Ricky White is a speed WR and separation savant who could help fill the void left by impending free agent Tutu Atwell.

The pick eyes may gravitate to, however, is Quinn Ewers in Round 6. Stetson Bennett’s status was uncertain for all of 2023, and then he led off the preseason in 2024 with a four-interception outing.

Los Angeles might soon need a new long-term backup candidate. Though he can still play with more discipline, Ewers has the off-platform ability and angle freedom that McVay can build and develop around.
