The 2025 NFL Draft is still far away, but from a distance, it looks like it will be yet another stacked class on the offensive side of the ball. On the latest episode of The PFN Scouting Podcast, the PFN Scouting crew details its early observations on offense for 2025.
PFN Scouting Podcast: 2025 NFL Draft Offense Preview Touches on Travis Hunter, Quinshon Judkins
We’ve been in a golden age of wide receiver evaluation for several cycles now. The 2024 NFL Draft class looked like the climax of that golden age at first — with prospects like Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, and Brian Thomas Jr. lining up in Round 1.
But now, looking ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft class, we can say that the golden age of WR play is still among us. More than that, the wide receiver golden age will converge with an uber-talented running back crop.
At wide receiver, talents like Travis Hunter, Luther Burden III, and Tetairoa McMillan lead off what should be another strong group. At running back, the RB1 race is a hotly contested one that includes players like Quinshon Judkins, Ollie Gordon II, TreVeyon Henderson, Omarion Hampton, Ashton Jeanty, and others.
On the latest episode of The PFN Scouting Podcast, myself and fellow NFL Draft and Fantasy Football Analyst Derek Tate talked about our early observations when scouting the RB and WR positions in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Beyond that, we also listed our early top fives at each position. Is Burden WR1 for us both, or is there a dark horse who enters the conversation? And how do young up-and-comers like Judkins and Gordon stack up in the RB rankings?
