Who faces off in the UFL Conference Championship schedule?

Both matchups will face off for the second week as the USFL and XFL’s top teams faced off in Week 10. With two one-point victories, will we see a repeat of last week’s results, or will the underdogs get the upper hand?

Here is the UFL Conference Championship schedule, including start times, channels, and more.

Who Faces Off in the UFL Conference Championship Schedule?

The USFL Conference Championship kicks off Saturday in Protective Stadium as the Michigan Panthers take on the season-long favorite Birmingham Stallions.

Then, on Sunday, the San Antonio Brahmas head to The Dome at America’s Center to take on the St. Louis Battlehawks for the XFL Conference Championship.

Who will advance to the UFL Championship?

    Michigan Panthers at Birmingham Stallions

    • Date: Saturday, June 8, 2024
    • Start time: 3 p.m. ET
    • Channel: ABC

The USFL Conference starts on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, as the Stallions host the Panthers in Birmingham. The Stallions have been the team to beat all season, finishing the UFL’s inaugural season with a 9-1 record.

A big reason for that record was All-UFL QB Adrian Martinez, who is currently the frontrunner for MVP. If you combine Martinez’s impressive season with many playmakers on offense, getting to the UFL Championship should be a breeze.

However, don’t count out the Panthers. Michigan had seven selections to the All-UFL team, the most in the league.

However, the Panthers will be missing an essential piece of their success over the last few weeks. The Panthers have utilized the two-QB system while battling injuries, but expect to just see Danny Etling under center with Bryce Perkins on IR following Week 10’s loss.

While the injury is concerning, Michigan expects RB Matt Colburn to be back. Can one of the UFL’s top rushers ease the pressure on Etling and help limit his mistakes?

With Birmingham winning 20-19 in Week 10, this matchup will surely be a thriller despite the Stallions’ dominance this season.

San Antonio Brahmas at St. Louis Battlehawks

    • Date: Sunday, June 9, 2024
    • Start time: 7 p.m. ET
    • Channel: FOX

The XFL Conference Championship kicks off on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET, with the Battlehawks hosting the Brahmas. These two squads have been neck-and-neck all season in the standings and, after 10 weeks, wound up tied at 7-3.

However, due to an undefeated home record and a 5-1 conference record, the Battlehawks secured home-field advantage with their Week 10 win.

The Battlehawks turn to QB AJ McCarron to help push them to a UFL Championship appearance. While McCarron was sidelined with an ankle injury towards the end of the season, he suited up in Week 10 to help St. Louis secure home-field advantage.

While not 100%, a hampered McCarron gives St. Louis a better chance than having Manny Wilkins under center.

However, the Brahmas have a predicament under center with a chance to advance to the UFL Championship on the line. While QB1 Chase Garbers started in San Antonio’s 13-12 loss last week, he injured the same wrist that forced him to sit for half the season.

Garbers is day-to-day, but re-aggravating an injury can put him at risk of missing more time from a hit this week. If Garbers can’t go, Quinten Dormady is back in the spotlight. While he has helped keep San Antonio afloat, Garbers has been the more efficient quarterback this season.

Will injury woes be the deciding factor in the Conference Championship?
