Will Chiefs WR Rashee Rice Be Suspended by NFL?
Rashee Rice is facing legal trouble following his April 2024 involvement in a multi-car accident in Dallas.
On March 30, Rice was traveling at a speed of 119 mph in a Lamborghini when he collided with six other vehicles. Dallas police reported that Rice was driving in the left-hand corner of a Dallas highway when his car got struck by a Corvette being driven by SMU cornerback Teddy Knox.
The Chiefs wide receiver is currently facing at least six felony counts for his involvement in the collision. He’s also facing potential league discipline.
Appearing on Steve Smith Sr.’s “Agent 89 Breakdown” podcast, NFL insider James Palmer believes Rice will indeed be suspended ahead of the 2024 season. Palmer mentions that Rice could be facing a suspension of “half a season at least.”
However, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport provided additional context during the final day of the NFL Draft — even indicating Rice may not be suspended at all for the 2024 season.

Travis Kelce Speaks About Revised 2-Year Contract
On Travis and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, the brothers discussed Travis’ new contract with the Chiefs.
The younger Kelce is now the NFL’s highest-paid tight end. His two-year, $34.25 million deal replaces the final two years of his previous Kansas City contract — and barely edges out New York Giants tight end Darren Waller’s contract, which averaged $17 million per year.
In this week’s episode, Travis expressed his gratitude to the team’s general manager, president, and head coach — and, of course, its chairman and CEO.
“I’m so thankful to Brett Veach, Mark Donovan, Coach Reid — Big Red, I love you, big guy — and obviously Clark Hunt,” he said. “The Hunt family has been absolutely wonderful, not only to myself [but] this Kansas City community. They have just been so generous since I’ve been here — and making it feel like home … I’ve loved every single second of it.”

New Renderings for Possible Chiefs Stadium in Kansas City, Kansas
As the Kansas legislature went into its final hours, some lawmakers saw conceptual renderings of what a domed new stadium for the Kansas City Chiefs could look like positioned near The Legends and Kansas Speedway in western Wyandotte County.
Sports architect David Manica developed the vision of a new home for the Super Bowl champions on behalf of an unnamed developer working to bring the team across state lines to Kansas.
In a statement to FOX4, Manica said, “This location offers incredible access to everybody. And the total available parking area will provide an unbelievable tailgating experience that is supplemented by a fantastic mixed-use development.”
The Chiefs have not commented on a possible move to Kansas other than to say the team is exploring its options, which might include a reimagined Arrowhead Stadium at the Truman Sports Complex or a new domed stadium.
