Pro Football Network’s Joe Broback has the Cowboys landing the best center in the 2024 NFL Draft in his latest mock draft. With the No. 24 selection, Dallas selects Oregon center Jackson Powers-Johnson.
“JPJ” also has experience playing guard, which would provide the Cowboys with some versatility in the trenches.

Cowboys Exercise Fifth-Year Option on Micah Parsons
As star edge rusher Micah Parsons continues to work out away from the team this offseason, the franchise made an expected move by officially exercising the fifth-year option on his rookie contract.
This was simply a procedural move, as both sides will likely want to avoid Parsons actually playing on the final year of his current contract. It’s in the best interest of both sides to agree to a contract extension soon.

Dallas Discussing Potential Reunion With Ezekiel Elliott
Aside from signing Royce Freeman to a one-year deal in free agency, Dallas has yet to make a notable addition at running back. Yet, following the departure of Tony Pollard this offseason, the Cowboys could surely use help in their backfield.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Dallas is discussing a potential reunion with Ezekiel Elliott, who had some success with the New England Patriots last season.
