Chiefs Continue To Retool Wide Receiver Room in Latest Mock Draft

As the NFL Draft nears, there’s growing speculation surrounding what the Chiefs will elect to do with the No. 32 overall selection.

After bringing back Chris Jones and acquiring Marquise “Hollywood” Brown in free agency, the Super Bowl champions do not have many holes in their roster. However, in his latest mock draft, Pro Football Network’s NFL Draft Analyst Ian Cummings has the Chiefs retooling their receiver room by drafting Washington’s Ja’Lynn Polk.

Cummings has been consistently mocking a wide receiver to the Chiefs for several months. Previously, he had projected Georgia wideout Ladd McConkey to the Chiefs.

Because of Polk’s separation as a route runner, Cummings believes that he’s a realistic fit in Andy Reid’s offense as a reliable threat for Patrick Mahomes, something Kansas City was missing in their Super Bowl run last year.

Chiefs Add Depth Throughout The Rest of Latest Mock Draft

While Polk highlighted Kansas City’s haul in Cummings’ latest mock draft, the Chiefs were able to fill out their roster with deeded depth after Round 1.

In Round 2, he has the Chiefs replacing L’Jarius Sneed with Michigan cornerback Mike Sainristil. Other interesting picks include defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat falling to Round 4, pairing him with Jones in a high-upside move.

Chiefs Fans Convinced Taylor Swift Called Out Kadarius Toney in New Album

Kelce’s relationship with Swift received global attention throughout last year’s NFL season. Now, NFL fans are convinced that Swift called out one of his teammates in her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

“When I touch down, call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team,” Swift sings in her new song. “Ditch the clowns, get the crown.”

Fans believe that Swift’s new song, “The Alchemy” seemingly takes a shot at one of Kelce’s teammates, Kadarius Toney. While Toney did play a role in Kansas City’s Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers, he was inactive from Week 15 on, taking to Instagram to state he wasn’t injured.

While fans are quick to jump to assumptions, Swift includes other football innuendos in the song, referencing Kelce running toward her at the end of the game instead of the trophy.
