Blake Corum played one of the most important roles in securing the Michigan Wolverines’ National Championship title in 2023. They finished the season with a thrilling 15-0 overall record.

Blake Corum and Makiah Shipp’s Relationship
Shipp was born in Detroit and attended the University of Michigan, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in public policy analysis. She then went to Arizona State University to pursue a Master’s degree in elementary education and teaching.
After nearly two years of dating, Corum got down on one knee and popped the most critical question in a couple’s life just one month after his NFL transition.
He proposed a romantic rooftop proposal to the love of his life as they stood in a heart filled with roses on June 30, 2024. The couple celebrated the engagement with a glass of champagne as Shipp showed off her giant diamond ring in the announcement post.

Corum’s now fiancée works as a social justice worker while wearing the hat of a public speaker and an author. Shipp works hard to empower young black women to be their best and authentic selves. Her award-winning book “Makiah’s Show and Tell” was also written on the same theme.
The Rams RB’s fiancée has always supported his dreams, and she tried to show up to his games wearing customized jackets and jerseys to express her love and support. During the 2024 NFL Draft, she styled a classic white dress and sat beside the former Michigan star as his name was announced.
The Wolverines alum never misses a chance to show off his relationship with Shipp, who is as much of a star off the field as Corum is on the field. The couple first started posting moments from their relationship on March 5, 2022.
The former Wolverines star will head into his first preseason matchup against the Dallas Cowboys at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 11.
