The long, anticipated wait is finally over for New York Jets fans. On Monday morning, the team introduced the new uniforms they’ll be unveiling for the 2024 NFL season.
The Jets have a rich history within their franchise, and while they turn the page to 2024 with a new look, there seem to be many influences from years past that played a part in the new style.
New York Jets Introduce New Uniforms
Jets owner Woody Johnson took to social media to post a picture showing off their new uniforms Monday morning, and the reception was a warm one by the fan base.

The message was simple “A new legacy begins,” but it was powerful to those Jets fans who are starving for a re-do in 2024.
While the look has some advancements that coincide with the times, as NFL uniforms evolve, it’s the old-school writing of “Jets” on the helmet that ties it all together and allows for a seamless transition between their teams of the past, with the hope and faith of what is to come.
New jerseys are often looked at as a fresh start, and for the Jets, it’s clear that looks to be their intention.
