Travis Kelce Hilariously Chugs Beer Before Finally Receiving College Diploma

Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce received his college diploma in a classic Kelce manner that would make his brother Jason proud.

There may not be anyone more willing to have fun at any given time than Travis Kelce. He and his brother Jason have been the life of the NFL party for two full seasons now, and that has yet to stop even well into the offseason.

The latest reminder came by way of Travis receiving his long-awaited college diploma, and when he finally got to cross the stage, he did so in classic Kelce fashion.

Travis Kelce Chugs Beer While Receiving Diploma

On Thursday night, Travis was back on campus at his old stomping grounds at the University of Cincinnati, where he was able to walk the stage as a graduate and receive his diploma.

As he walked onto the stage, he had a beer can in his hand, and to the surprise of nobody who has followed the Kelce brothers throughout the years, he chugged it.

The radio voice of the University of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Bengals, Dan Hoard, captured the moment and posted it on X stating “Receiving a diploma…Travis Kelce style.”

After shaking the hand of the man in front of him, with The Beastie Boys’ “Fight for Your Right” blaring in the background, Kelce turned to the crowd before grabbing his diploma and crushed the beer in his hand as everyone erupted around him. He then spiked the can and lifted the diploma before posing for a picture.

It couldn’t have been a more perfect Kelce moment. The NFL superstar, who is extremely proud of his roots, has the opportunity to go back to the school that jumpstarted his football career, accepts the diploma he never received while a student-athlete, and comes back as a hometown hero, doing it his way.

Travis has been at the height of both his stardom and on-field career over the last two seasons. He’s a back-to-back Super Bowl champion, is dating the world’s biggest pop star, and has an immensely popular podcast that he gets to do every week with his brother. It’s probably fair to assume that life doesn’t get much better than it is right now for the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
