Besides Brown and Rice, there aren’t many promising options at the position in Kansas City. Therefore, they could potentially make a move for a notable star wide receiver in 2025.

    2024 NFL Draft: How Should the Chiefs Approach the Draft?

    Although the Chiefs have re-signed several players this offseason, they have yet to fill one major void. Pro Football Network NFL Writer Dallas Robinson outlined a potential plan for Kansas City to follow in the 2024 NFL Draft. Robinson points out that the Chiefs have yet to sign former starting left tackle Donovan Smith and could address that spot with the 32nd overall pick in the first round.

    Stefon Diggs 2025 Landing Spots: Could the Star WR Be Headed to Kansas City?

    Separately, Robinson also points out that wide receiver is another position of need in Kansas City. Even before Rice’s incident, there were questions about the Chiefs’ long-term situation at the position.

    Robinson identified Kansas City as a potential landing spot for current Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Once the star was traded to Houston, his contract was adjusted to become, functionally, a one-year deal. Could he land in Kansas City in 2025?

    There is no denying that Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce is one of the best at the position in the history of the NFL. Yet at 34 years old, the Chiefs could consider selecting his eventual replacement in the 2024 NFL Draft. Kansas State’s Ben Sinnott is one of the top tight ends in this year’s class. According to Sinnott’s Instagram story, he recently visited Kansas City.

    Chiefs Superfan Ordered to Pay Ex-Bank Teller $10.8 Million

    Xaviar Babudar — widely known as Chiefsaholic — has found himself in some serious trouble with the law. Babudar admitted to stealing more than $800,000 in 11 different robberies after reaching a federal plea agreement in February. Now, the Chiefs superfan is facing even more trouble as a judge ordered Babudar to pay $10.8 million to an ex-bank teller that he threatened with a gun in December of 2022.
