Anytime Jerry Jones or the Dallas Cowboys are involved, it’s going to draw attention, even if it’s mundane. Such was the case on Sunday night when the Cowboys’ owner met with the media and fielded a variety of questions regarding the team and the upcoming NFL Draft.
However, it wasn’t what he said that caught the attention of social media. It was what he was writing on his notepad that had everyone talking.
Jerry Jones’ Scribbled Notepad Goes Viral
A photo circulated the internet Sunday night of a smiling Jerry sitting back in his chair as he talked to the collective media. However, it was the random lines, drawings, and scribbles that had the internet ablaze.

Naturally, social media had fun at the Cowboys’ owner’s expense when the internet caught wind of the nonsensical line drawing.

Jones and the Cowboys have been exceptionally quiet during free agency, signing just one outside free agent since the start of the legal tampering period. One X user believes this may be a note for keeping the Cowboys’ plans locked up.

It’s well-documented that when it was between drafting Johnny Manziel or All-Pro and future Hall of Fame offensive guard Zack Martin, Jones was in the camp of drafting Manziel before being overruled.
This X user hilariously reminds us of that decision with an ode to the movie Draft Day and puts Manziel’s name in the mix instead.

Whatever message Jones was trying to convey to the masses with his scribbling on the NFL legal pad, it turned into another viral moment that Cowboys haters can laugh at them about, while those in Cowboys Nation can use it as a distraction to help them forget about the lack of offseason they have had to this point.
