With two top-10 picks and a wide receiver secured via a late-night trade, the Chicago Bears look certain to snag a quarterback with the first overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft. But, which one will they land?
With the PFN Mock Draft Simulator (MDS), you can be the general manager for your favorite team, every team, or you can even let the sim roll and discover the potential scenarios of the NFL’s annual selection event. That’s exactly what we did for this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
2024 NFL Mock Draft
Disclaimer: This 2024 NFL Mock Draft was written and published before the Minnesota Vikings and Houston Texans trade.
For the latest post-free agency mock — and all seven rounds — we have you covered.
1) Chicago Bears (From CAR): Caleb Williams, QB, USC
With the Chicago Bears trading for Keenan Allen late on March 14, the chances of Marvin Harrison Jr. being the number one overall pick appear to have vanished completely. The Bears look set to take a quarterback to open the 2024 NFL Draft.
They’ve been inextricably linked with USC Trojans standout Caleb Williams since the draft order was set, and in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, that projection becomes a reality. Williams’ alluring off-script capability combined with a devastating ability to hit the deep third, breathes new life into the Windy City fanbase.
2) Washington Commanders: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
It was always considered likely that the Washington Commanders, fresh off an organizational restructure from top to bottom, would strive to find their quarterback of the future in the 2024 NFL Draft. With the trade of Sam Howell to the Seattle Seahawks, “likely” just left town and “definitely” pulled up to replace it.
The big question now is, who will the Commanders fall in love with? With Caleb Williams off the board, Washington strikes for another Tar Heel, with Drake Maye officially becoming the QB1 of this class. He’s been that way on the PFN Top 100 for some time now, with his alluring arm talent, football intelligence, and deceptive athleticism giving him a bright NFL future.
3) New England Patriots: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
The New England Patriots are a prime landing spot for a quarterback, especially after their offseason moves to shed former first-round pick Mac Jones. However, even with a new regime, the Patriots are an unpredictable force in the NFL’s annual selection event. Don’t rule out a deviation from the position when they’re on the clock in April.
While New England has lacked elite QB play in recent seasons, it’s been even longer since they had a top-tier pass catcher on the roster. Marvin Harrison Jr. falls into that category, and has already proven at the college level that he’s capable of elevating mediocre quarterback play.
4) Arizona Cardinals: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Considered a potential landing spot for one of the top offensive tackles in the 2024 NFL Draft ahead of free agency, the capture of Jonah Williams to play opposite Paris Johnson Jr. removes that need for the Arizona Cardinals.

Instead, they provide entrenched QB1 Kyler Murray with an exciting weapon to bolster the receiving group. Malik Nabers is arguably the second-best wide receiver in this deep group of pass-catchers.
5) Los Angeles Chargers: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
The Jim Harbaugh era starts with a bit of a reach with Alabama corner Terrion Arnold. With other higher-rated corners on the board, the Chargers were impressed with Arnold’s leadership and experience at one of the top programs in the country.
While most scratch their heads at the pick, the Chargers look to shore up the team’s defense before building around quarterback Justin Herbert on offense.
6) New York Giants: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
The New York Giants could go in any number of directions with the sixth overall pick, with quarterback and wide receiver as clear needs. However, with Daniel Jones on the financial hook for 2024 and the top two WRs off the board, protection is the order of business.
Joe Alt has a rare combination of size — 6’8″ and 310 pounds — and exceptional athleticism born from his time as a tight end.
7) Tennessee Titans: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Confident in Will Levis under center, the Titans offer their young QB some protection with JC Latham. It is a fitting pick, given first-year Titans coach Brian Callahan’s Dad, Bill Callahan, is the team’s OL coach.
With two tackles already off the board, Tennessee grabs the next best available with Latham, a massive prospect (6’6″, 305 pounds) who explodes off the snap.
8) Atlanta Falcons: Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
After just signing Kirk Cousins to a four-year, $180 million deal, the Falcons also pass on a QB in an effort to bolster the team’s pass rush.
With its pick of EDGE rushers, Atlanta goes with Laiatu Latu, a relentless, explosive attacker with great size at 6’4″, 260 pounds.
9) Chicago Bears: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
After landing their franchise quarterback of the future with the first overall pick in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, attention turns to how the Bears bolster the rest of their roster. They could take a defensive direction. However, providing offensive line reinforcements may be a better use of their top-10 draft capital.
MORE: Top QBs in the 2024 NFL Draft
If a top-tier offensive tackle talent like Olu Fashanu is available with the 10th overall pick, they should run the card up to the podium. The Penn State product hasn’t attracted the same attention as some other OTs as the cycle has progressed, but he’s a highly intelligent football player with impressive technique.
10) New York Jets: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
With Zach Wilson seeking a trade and Aaron Rodgers closer to the end of his career than the prime of it, the New York Jets could opt to catch a falling star to blood for the future. Jayden Daniels was in New York collecting the Heisman Trophy just a few months ago, and returns there in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
Daniels has gotten better each of his last two seasons at LSU, showcasing an electric, explosive skill set as a dangerous dual threat while developing his skills as a passer. Another year working on his game while learning for one of the best to ever do it gives the Jets a remarkable succession plan.
11) Minnesota Vikings: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
Losing Kirk Cousins to the Falcons, the Minnesota Vikings decide on a quarterback who shares similar traits with Cousins on and off the field in J.J. McCarthy.
In McCarthy — a winning resume coming off a National Championship, a prototypical quarterback build with a strong arm, and a demonstrably positive demeanor — the Vikings find a player that fits their culture.
12) Denver Broncos: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
With the top quarterbacks taken, the Broncos will look for Russell Wilson’s replacement in the later rounds, taking the best available EDGE in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, Dallas Turner.
After blowing away the 2024 NFL Combine, the Broncos can’t pass up on the Alabama pass rusher.
13) Las Vegas Raiders: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
New defensive-minded head coach Antonio Pierce needs help in pass defense, so the Las Vegas Raiders decide on Toledo Rockets cornerback Quinyon Mitchell.
A proven ball-hawk with six picks in the last two seasons, Mitchell has the versatility to play anywhere in the defensive backfield — in any scheme.
14) New Orleans Saints: Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
With two EDGEs already taken in the top 15, the pass-rush-needy New Orleans Saints look to Florida State EDGE Jared Verse.
Verse falls slightly here, despite a strong NFL Combine performance, allowing the Saints to pick up a high-octane rusher with seemingly endless pursuit energy and impressive size at 6’4″, 254 pounds.
15) Indianapolis Colts: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
The Indianapolis Colts are able to secure a security blanket for young QB Anthony Richardson with the top tight end on the board this year, Brock Bowers.
The Georgia tight end is arguably a top-10 talent in this class. However, positional value sees Bowers fall to No. 15 amidst the chaotic first half of this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, giving Indianapolis the most complete TE available.
16) Seattle Seahawks: Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
With Geno Smith set to return under center, first-year coach Mike McDonald wants to protect his new QB, so the Seattle Seahawks strike for Taliese Fuaga.
Fuaga stays in the Pacific Northwest and can help stabilize a unit that finished in the bottom 10 in total offense last season.
17) Jacksonville Jaguars: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
It could be argued that Trevor Lawrence hasn’t lived up to his “generational” tag coming into the NFL, and he enters contract negotiations with something to prove. At the same time, a former first-round pick arrives as a competitive backup option in Mac Jones.
As a counter-argument, it could be said that Lawrence hasn’t been surrounded by top-tier talent. The selection of Washington Huskies WR Rome Odunze ends that debate, as the highly-rated and extremely talented pass catcher lands in Duval.
18) Cincinnati Bengals: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
After missing out on Odunze and needing a receiver with Tee Higgins requesting a trade, the Bengals decide to add another LSU player on offense, grabbing Brian Thomas Jr.
Former LSU QB Joe Burrow now has another Tiger to throw to alongside Ja’Marr Chase. Thomas Jr. is a supremely fluid route runner with the physicality and length (6’3”) to win 50/50 balls in the red zone.
19) Los Angeles Rams: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
The usually offensive-minded Sean McVay chooses to shore up the defensive backfield by grabbing the second-fastest player at the Combine, Clemson cornerback Nate Wiggins.
Clocking a 4.29-second 40-yard dash, Wiggins isn’t just a speedster, boasting top-level route recognition and coverage instincts.
20) Pittsburgh Steelers: Troy Fautanu, OT, Washington
With new QB Russell Wilson in Pittsburgh, the Steelers must keep their $1.4 million investment protected, so they opt for Washington’s Troy Fautanu.
KEEP READING: Kenny Pickett Trade Details
Fresh off a National Championship Game appearance, Fautanu goes a little early here, but the Steelers are getting one of the best offensive linemen available in the back half of the first round.
21) Miami Dolphins: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
The Miami Dolphins also need help on the offensive line and decide to jump on who they deem the best center in the draft, Jackson Powers-Johnson.
A quick accelerator and lateral-mover, Powers-Johnson is also going a little early as need overtakes perceived positional value for Miami.
22) Philadelphia Eagles: Johnny Newton, DT, Illinois
The Philadelphia Eagles hit the jackpot drafting a DL last season with Jalen Carter and hope to do the same with Johnny Newton.
A tenacious defensive tackle who has violent hands and rare quickness despite his 304-pound frame, Newton will be a solid rotational player for an already top-10 defense.
23) San Francisco 49ers (From HOU): Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Editor’s Note: This mock draft was published before the Vikings-Texans trade was announced on Friday morning. If you’re curious about what might happen now, here are several quarterback options for the Vikings in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Trade: The 49ers receive pick 23 in the 2024 NFL Draft; the Texans receive pick 31 and a 2025 second-round pick.
As offensive linemen start flying off the board, the San Francisco 49ers jump up the order to secure their target in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, Georgia OT Amarius Mims.
While some teams may have concerns about selecting the Bulldogs offensive lineman in the first round due to injuries in 2023, his mountainous size (6’7″, 340 pounds) and dominating athleticism fit perfectly in Kyle Shannon’s wide zone run offense.
24) Dallas Cowboys: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
The Dallas Cowboys get in on the offensive line party and snag Oklahoma Sooners tackle Tyler Guyton, one of the ascending prospects in this class. He’s a natural pass-protector whose relative lack of starting experience early in his career means his best football is likely ahead of him.
25) Green Bay Packers: Graham Barton, G, Duke
The Packers are set under center with Jordan Love and just paid a hefty fee for the services of RB Josh Jacobs. To amplify both players’ production, Green Bay decides to bring in some protection with Graham Barton.
At 6’5”, 313 pounds, he has elite explosiveness despite his imposing size. Still, concerns over his arm length could pigeonhole him into an interior spot at the NFL level despite his experience at LT for the Duke Blue Devils.
26) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
Known for its vaunted defense over the years, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can’t resist seeing a player like Chop Robinson drop to them despite other pressing needs that should be addressed.
The Bucs pull the trigger in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, bagging a dense, explosive pass rusher with loads of burst, twitch, and a violent first step.
27) Arizona Cardinals: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
With the offensive line sorted in free agency and wide receiver taken care of earlier in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the Cardinals turn to defensive needs late in the first round.
Kamari Lassiter has been a fringe Day 1 prospect as the draft cycle has fluctuated, and his combination of foot speed, processing ability, and ferocity makes him an early contributor to the Arizona defense.
28) Buffalo Bills: Cooper DeJean, S, Iowa
The Buffalo Bills opt to bolster their defensive backfield after seeing Iowa DB Cooper DeJean almost fall out of the first round.
MORE: Top Safeties in the 2024 NFL Draft
Cooper DeJean proved his worth as an elite collegiate corner, but his top-notch physicality and size (6’1”, 209 pounds) have him projected as a safety.
29) Detroit Lions: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Detroit head coach Dan Campbell is all about defense, and he stays that way in the first round by picking up corner Kool-Aid McKinstry.
With a plethora of corners going before him, McKinstry is a gift at Detroit at No. 29, providing a steady corner that is usually in the right place at the right time.
30) Baltimore Ravens: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas
Byron Murphy II almost fell out of the first round, but the Ravens couldn’t help taking a chance on the big man from Texas.
At 6’1″, 297 pounds, Murphy has exceptional quickness and energy for his size, which is a terrifying prospect for teams in the AFC North and beyond.
31) Houston Texans (From SF): Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
After running away with the 2023 NFL Draft, securing both the Offensive Rookie of the Year with C.J. Stroud and the Defensive Rookie of the Year with Will Anderson Jr., the Texans decide to trade back and see how it plays out.
The plan works out nicely, with Keon Coleman falling to Houston at pick 31. Another target for Stroud as he continues to develop, Coleman somewhat fell after a slow 40-yard dash (4.61 seconds), but he’s an effortless accelerator with great size at 6″3″, 213 pounds.
32) Kansas City Chiefs: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
As if winning the Super Bowl wasn’t enough, the Kansas City Chiefs are gifted the fastest man in NFL Combine history with the last pick of this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, Xavier Worthy.

With a record-setting 4.21 seconds 40-yard dash and an impressive route tree, Worthy is set to overcome size concerns and become a first-round selection.
