    NFL World Stunned by Derrick Henry Joining the Ravens – “This Should Terrify Every Team in the NFL”

    After just a day on the open market, Derrick Henry is officially a Baltimore Raven. The NFL world took to social media to react to the signing.

    Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry was one of the biggest names to hit the free agent market on Monday, and after a day of inactivity, Henry officially found a new home.

    According to multiple reports, Henry is heading to Baltimore to join the Ravens on a two-year, $16 million deal worth up to $20 million, including $9 million fully guaranteed in the first year.

    Naturally, with Henry now off the free agent board in a spot many had felt was the right place for him all along, the NFL world had reactions and took to social media to give their take on the new deal for the former Titans star.

    NFL World Reacts to Ravens Signing Derrick Henry

    Henry is as dominant and physically imposing of a running back as the league has ever seen. With Henry joining QB  Lamar Jackson in the backfield, the Ravens’ running game looks to be something that can do unprecedented things.

    Former NFL running back and current NFL analyst Maurice Jones-Drew did not mince words when he talked about how the rest of the league should feel about the signing.

    “This should terrify every team in the NFL.”

    Deals in the NFL happen fast, so fast, in fact, that current Raven defensive back Marlon Humphrey and Henry were exchanging messages yesterday, and the star RB never mentioned the deal to him during their conversation.

    “No way we was texting yesterday and you didn’t even say nothing about this lol
    @KingHenry_2.”

    Former NFL linebacker and current NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho took to social media to give his take on the signing and was clear in his belief that this was the best move of the free agency period thus far.

    “Derrick Henry to the Ravens is the most perfect fit of all the free agency acquisitions. Let’s talk about it!”

    Former Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith speaks for the NFL world when it comes to the potential damage the new Ravens’ backfield can inflict on imposing defenses.

    “Imagine being a linebacker with Patrick Ricard and Derrick Henry running right at your face.”

    There’s no doubt that the Ravens’ front office knows what they’re doing. Adding the sheer size and strength of Henry to the backfield, which already includes the polar opposite running style with Keaton Mitchell, is going to be a dangerous 1-2 punch, and something ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes knows can cause a storm for defenses.

    “Derrick Henry + Keaton Mitchell is the thunderest + lightneingest thunder and lightning pairing one could conceive of,” Kimes posted on X.
