The offensive tackle class in the 2024 NFL Draft boasts plenty of incredible athletes, with some of the most skilled movers in recent memory all set to test in Indianapolis at the 2024 NFL Combine.
Top 2024 NFL Combine Offensive Tackles
Offensive linemen take the field on the last day of testing on Sunday, March 3. They will do the same tests that every position group does (40-yard dash, vertical and broad jumps, three-cone, shuttle run, and bench press) and position-related drills on the field, like the wave drill, the deep pull, and the fold block drill.
Oluwumiya Fashanu, Penn State
In contention to be the first offensive tackle drafted, Olu Fashanu‘s athletic testing should be a marvel. His combination of length and movement skills are among the best in recent memory, and his abilities as a pass protector are the best in the class.
His stock has seemingly fluctuated among media analysts, slipping behind others like Notre Dame’s Joe Alt and Oregon State’s Taliese Fuaga. A great showing in Indianapolis should be enough for him to regain that momentum.
Amarius Mims, Georgia
Amarius Mims is truly one of the most gifted linemen to hit the draft cycle over the last few years. His mammoth 6’7″, 340-pound frame looks chiseled out, and he’s like a Hercules among men next to the rest of the NFL-caliber linemen the Georgia Bulldogs boast. His tape shows some incredible athleticism for his size, and he’ll steal the show going through athletic testing.
However, he’s a polarizing prospect because he has only started eight career games. He spent time behind other linemen at Georgia and dealt with a tightrope surgery this season. While he did return sooner than expected, he left the first half of the SEC Championship Game with an ankle injury. His medical exams and interviews with teams at the NFL Combine will be crucial to his stock.
Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma
Another tremendous athlete among these offensive tackles, Tyler Guyton has already enjoyed a fruitful offseason after his performance at the Senior Bowl in January. He’s only a two-year starter and still has some kinks to work out in his technical skills, but he has all the athletic tools you could want in an NFL offensive lineman.
Oklahoma has a long list of linemen who have stolen the show with their athletic testing numbers in the draft, and Guyton should be next in line. How his interviews go will be critical to maintaining his momentum and keeping his stock pointed upward this draft cycle.
Patrick Paul, Houston
Patrick Paul is a perfect “first guy off the bus” player. He measured in at the Senior Bowl at a whopping 6’7″, 333 pounds with 36 2/8” arms, some of the longest of any lineman in history. He’s a tremendous athlete in his own right who is capable of testing through the roof at the NFL Combine.
However, his interviews will also be key. For a player with over 40 career starts, Paul is still noticeably raw in his technique, which has been a dampener for his draft stock. How he handles interviews and what teams take away about his coachability will be crucial, but his testing numbers should be noteworthy, especially at his 330-pound frame.
Blake Fisher, Notre Dame
Blake Fisher is one of the most intriguing developmental tackle options in this class, and maybe not the Notre Dame lineman you’d expect to make this list. Fisher is a tremendous athlete with excellent length, but he is young, declaring as a redshirt sophomore.

How he handles interviews with NFL teams, given his relative inexperience, combined with the NFL Combine being his first real NFL event of the offseason and the first time many will see him, will be a storyline to monitor. His talent is undeniable though, and he should test out of the building.
