The 2024 NFL Combine gets underway Thursday as many of the 300 invitees from across the country showcase their skills to NFL evaluators in an effort to improve their draft stock. Some players’ performances will certainly boost their status in the class, while others will inevitably slide a bit with less stellar showings.
Here’s everything you need to know to watch the Combine over the next few days.
What Time Does the NFL Combine Start Today?
The Combine gets underway at 2 p.m. ET Thursday with the opening day of workouts, following two days of formal and informal interviews between players and team representatives.
Defensive linemen and linebackers are the first position groups to get their workouts in on the day, with other groups to follow later in the week.
What Channel Is the NFL Combine?
The Combine will be televised on NFL Network with quite a bit of live coverage across the four days of workouts. The event will also be streaming on NFL+, which will hold a unique Players Only broadcast Saturday starting at 2 p.m. ET that will feature former NFL players Kurt Warner, Michael Irvin, Steve Smith Sr., Maurice Jones-Drew, and Michael Robinson.
NFL Network will broadcast from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Feb. 29, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET on Friday, 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET on Sunday to cover the four days of workouts.
For those who do not have a cable package — or whose cable package does not include NFL Network — streaming options with the channel include Fubo, Sling TV, or Hulu + Live TV. Purchasing a subscription to NFL+ also provides access to NFL Network.

- Thursday, February 29 (starting at 3 p.m. ET): Defensive linemen, linebackers
- Friday, March 1 (starting at 3 p.m. ET): Defensive backs, tight ends
- Saturday, March 2 (starting at 1 p.m. ET): Quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs
- Sunday, March 3 (starting at 1 p.m. ET): Offensive linemen
How Long Is the NFL Combine?
Although the workout portion of the Combine spans four days at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the event has been in full swing since Tuesday, Feb. 27, and will have run for a full week when all is said and done on Monday, March 4.
Those other non-workout days give teams a chance to interview prospects and just mingle with each other, with plenty of discussions on free agents, trade targets, and more taking place between the franchises’ various representatives.
Of course, many of those dialogues are technically not allowed under the NFL’s tampering rules, though that certainly doesn’t prevent them from happening.
