The NFL Combine has since come and passed, and it will be a short couple of months before the 2024 NFL Draft is here. Things are moving quickly in the NFL offseason, and soon teams will be adding talent and building a roster for the future.
2024 NFL Mock Draft
1) Chicago Bears (From CAR): Caleb Williams, QB, USC
At the NFL Combine this week, much was made of what the Bears will do with the first overall pick and how it relates to Justin Fields. I said before that anything other than Caleb Williams joining Chicago should be viewed as a massive upset, and I still feel that way despite the conversations in Indy.
2) Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
There are reports that Dan Quinn and the Commanders are extensively researching the Heisman Trophy winner. The stack between the top three QBs can go a multitude of different ways, with opinions on the No. 2 and No. 3 prospects varying between teams.
In this case, Quinn adds an intriguing prospect in Jayden Daniels to start his tenure in the nation’s capital, getting the guy he wants before things change quickly after them.
3) Minnesota Vikings (From NE): Drake Maye, QB, UNC
Trade: The Vikings receive the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Patriots receive the 11th and 42nd picks and Minnesota’s 2025 first-round selection.
Drake Maye has some real fans around the league, with multiple teams putting the North Carolina QB on the same level as Williams.
The Vikings share that feeling in this scenario, packaging their first-round pick and other high-ranking selections to swap with the New England Patriots to get their guy.
Maye looks to be the future in Minnesota regardless of what happens with Kirk Cousins, and the Vikings are aggressive in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft to secure the face of their franchise.
4) Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
I have long stated that Marvin Harrison Jr. may be the best pure prospect in this class, and I still believe that wholeheartedly. His natural push down to the Arizona Cardinals at No. 4 due to an early run on quarterbacks is a win for them, giving Kyler Murray a devastating offensive weapon to play with.
5) Los Angeles Chargers: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
Joe Alt is my OT1 in this class and has stayed that way throughout. So for him to come off the board here is a great start to the Jim Harbaugh era in Los Angeles. The big, physically gifted offensive lineman will be an immediate starter for the Chargers.
6) New York Giants: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
The Giants could easily go and get Malik Nabers and add a true playmaking WR here to help Daniel Jones on the outside. Instead, they take OT2 and add more help in the trenches.
You can’t throw the ball if you can’t protect, and the Giants understand that with the selection of Olu Fashanu in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
7) Tennessee Titans: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Malik Nabers is a playmaker in every sense of the word and will add to an offense that desperately needs more game-breaking assets.
If it weren’t for Harrison, Nabers would easily be the consensus WR1 in this group, and some believe he may be better anyway. Either way, he adds juice to the Titans and is a great pick at No. 7.
8) Atlanta Falcons: J.J. McCarthy, QB, Michigan
The J.J. McCarthy discourse continues to be fascinating. He’s been previously mocked much lower than this as a mid-to-late Round 1 quarterback, but as of late, there seems to be a growing sentiment that McCarthy goes much earlier than some expected.
It’s hard to ignore what feels like an inevitable ascent up boards right now. The Atlanta Falcons might be the perfect spot for the national championship winner, as Raheem Morris adds a rookie QB to the mix for his first season.
9) Chicago Bears: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
Chicago grabbed its quarterback of the future to open this mock draft, and now they add a pass rusher to the mix with their second selection within the top 10 — bolstering both sides of the ball at premium positions.
Dallas Turner will provide another weapon to the pass rush and give the Bears two home-run selections to start a pivotal class.
10) New York Jets: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Protecting the quarterback is crucial to offensive success. It’s something that the Jets will need to be better at next year.
Insert Alabama OT JC Latham into the mix, and Aaron Rodgers would feel he has a piece that will allow him to sit comfortably in the pocket and dissect defenses.
11) New England Patriots (From MIN): Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
The Vikings gave the Patriots an offer they couldn’t refuse earlier in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. After dropping from third to 11 and collecting premium picks to do so, New England opts to grab a pass-catching talent, adding more weapons to an offensive arsenal that desperately needs it.
A highly productive college WR who is nearly as explosive as the two guys who went before him, Rome Odunze has a chance to make an immediate impact for a team that needs it as much as any other.
12) Denver Broncos: Johnny Newton, DT Illinois
Johnny Newton appears to be dealing with a lingering issue that stopped him from showing out at the NFL Combine. But the anticipation is he will be fine, and in this case, the Denver Broncos take a productive player who will add toughness to the middle of their defense.
13) Las Vegas Raiders: Taliese Fuaga, OT Oregon State
The Raiders need pass protection in the worst way, and take a tackle here. They should feel good about adding a quality piece to their offensive line.
Taliese Fuaga brings pedigree and adds some tenacity to the group as they look to create running lanes and keep their QB — whoever that may be — upright.
14) New Orleans Saints: Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
The productive pass rusher brings dynamic ability off the edge for any defense. And depending on who you ask, Laiatu Latu may be the best EDGE prospect in the class.
The New Orleans Saints could opt for an OT here, but they snag a high-level defensive playmaker instead.
15) Indianapolis Colts: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
Terrion Arnold may be the best pure cover cornerback in the 2024 NFL Draft class. With coverage stickiness, smooth hips, the ability to track the ball, excellent catch-point skills, and a high football IQ, Arnold is everything you want from a CB. As such, the selection fills a significant need for the Colts.
16) Seattle Seahawks: Graham Barton, G, Duke
Graham Barton is a riser amongst the draft community right now, perhaps due to his film finally getting the full recognition it deserves. The former Blue Devils LT projects to move inside in the NFL but should be able to do so smoothly. He can help the Seahawks’ interior offensive line immediately.
17) Jacksonville Jaguars: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Adding Keon Coleman to Trevor Lawrence’s arsenal will only help the quarterback take his game to another level. The Jags have a vast array of needs and could go in various directions in April, but a talent like Coleman may prove too good to pass up in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
18) Cincinnati Bengals: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
The tight end position is an interesting one. Brock Bowers is a top-five talent, but does the value warrant the money it would take to make him that selection?

Bowers will essentially already be paid like a strong veteran TE. It’s a question teams will struggle with, but not the Bengals. The selection of Bowers helps round out an already quality Cincinnati passing game.
19) Los Angeles Rams: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
With his ability to play inside or out, the Rams are adding an excellent CB in Quinyon Mitchell to their defensive backfield. Mitchell’s rising stock has been fun to watch. However, few would be shocked if he goes even higher than 19, giving the Rams excellent value at a position of need.
20) Pittsburgh Steelers: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
Pittsburgh finds itself a Senior Bowl standout who made himself some money that week. Jackson Powers-Johnson came into Mobile and was dominant from Day 1, and it has helped solidify his first-round status. Physical, nasty, and smart are the best ways to describe the former Duck — giving the Steelers their center for the next decade.
21) Miami Dolphins: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Tackle help for the Dolphins will be important, with several impending free agents and an aging left tackle making life difficult.
With a QB to build around and a solid core of offensive weapons, ensuring solid protection up front will be the next priority. Amarius Mims can be that piece right away as the Dolphins look to keep their high-powered offense rolling.
22) Philadelphia Eagles: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
Nate Wiggins could (and probably should) go sooner than this. However, in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, he lands in Philly and adds big-play ability to their secondary.
The Eagles should feel excited about adding an excellent CB talent to an aging group. Wiggins could end up being the best cornerback in this draft class.
23) Houston Texans (From CLE): Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas
Byron Murphy II is gaining crazy steam amongst the draft community. The physical Texas DT has been getting buzz lately with the belief that he will be a first-round selection. Murphy’s toughness and skill are a great fit for a DeMeco Ryans-coached team, and adding him to the mix in Houston feels like a no-brainer.
24) Dallas Cowboys: Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
Jared Verse could easily go in the top 15 of the 2024 NFL Draft, but stranger things than a former Florida State pass rusher suffering a slide in the NFL’s annual selection event have happened.
In this scenario, Mike Zimmer and the Cowboys take advantage of a falling star to add a top-tier playmaker at a position where you can never have too much talent.

Many are looking at offensive linemen or even wide receivers here for the Cowboys, but this was too advantageous to pass up. Dallas adds a quality pass rusher to a defense that needs more toughness.
25) Green Bay Packers: Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
It’s too bad that Cooper DeJean couldn’t participate in the NFL Combine due to a late-season foot injury he’s still recovering from. That ailment robs us all of the chance to watch how freakishly athletic he truly is.
Some see DeJean as a safety, which is fine, but I think he can be a cornerback and do it all in between. The important thing is not to pigeonhole him and let the athlete be just that. DeJean adds supreme athletic ability to a Packers team that can use it.
26) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
Chop Robinson‘s ability and experience at Penn State should translate well to the Buccaneers’ style of defense. He’d have a chance to be an instant pass-rushing upgrade to the group they already have.
The Bucs could go with a few different options here, but adding pass-rushing help is never a bad idea, especially this late in Round 1.
27) Arizona Cardinals (From HOU): Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Smooth, productive, and a high-level athlete are all accurate ways to describe former Alabama cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry. The Cardinals add a productive CB to their secondary after taking my favorite draft prospect earlier.
28) Buffalo Bills: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
Insert Brian Thomas Jr. here and let him prosper with Josh Allen. The Buffalo QB getting another weapon seems like a necessary move for the Bills’ offense. Despite the ability to go in different directions here, adding more outside threats is never a bad idea for this dynamic unit.
29) Detroit Lions: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
The Lions can go in several directions here, with several pressing needs despite an impressive season.
In this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, they add former Georgia and Texas WR Adonai Mitchell. While Detroit has some talented pass catchers, you can always use more, and Mitchell could be an immediate contributor with his red-zone prowess.
30) Baltimore Ravens: Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
Darius Robinson boasts impressive size and plays the game with eye-popping strength. He can apply game-wrecking pressure on an offensive lineman when given a chance to pin his ears back and rush.

Despite making his first appearance in one of my 2024 NFL Mock Drafts, the Missouri defensive standout is starting to garner first-round hype that may be too hard to ignore going forward. The Ravens add a big, physical specimen with positional versatility.
31) San Francisco 49ers: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
The 49ers build their team with toughness and do so with the big guys up front. Oklahoma Sooners standout Tyler Guyton would, therefore, be a welcomed addition.
Guyton’s stock has been steadily rising following a stellar showing at the Senior Bowl. This pick is a good one for San Francisco to add to their efficient offense.
32) Kansas City Chiefs: Troy Fautanu, G, Washington
The Chiefs could look at a wide receiver here as an obvious need, but they opt to add an impact-making guard, getting protection for Patrick Mahomes to gear up for their pursuit of a third straight Super Bowl.
Adding Troy Fautanu into the mix gives Kansas City another powerful piece of the offensive puzzle and secures the front end before they add more weaponry later on in the draft.
