It’s NFL Combine week, and prospects from across the country want to elevate their 2024 NFL Draft stock with their performances in Indianapolis.
While we await results from the NFL‘s annual testing event, there’s time for another 2024 NFL Mock Draft to see what teams could do before they get more data to furnish their evaluation.
2024 NFL Mock Draft
1) Chicago Bears (From CAR): Caleb Williams, QB, USC
While he won’t be throwing at the Combine, there shouldn’t be any doubt about Caleb Williams. Teams have watched his film and seen his arm talent, and throwing in Indianapolis wouldn’t drastically change their opinion on the USC quarterback.
Chicago should have their plan set for Justin Fields this week. In this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the Bears keep Fields but take his replacement in Williams. The rookie would challenge their current qb, and it sets Chicago up well for finding their future franchise player.
2) Washington Commanders: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
If Sam Howell is traded as rumors suggest, the Washington Commanders will draft a quarterback in April. With Williams off the board, Washington goes with another elite QB prospect.
Fellow former UNC Tar Heel Drake Maye arrives in the capital to take over, and Washington’s offense should thrive with him under center. Maye has great arm talent and an underrated ability to run, and the offense has the pieces around him to be an explosive unit.
3) New England Patriots: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
This is where the 2024 NFL Draft could get interesting.
The Patriots need a quarterback, but are they willing to take one if they don’t love the options? Opinions about this QB class are all over the place, which is what makes this pick so intriguing. If New England likes one of the remaining options, they’ll take that player here. If not…
Maybe Jerod Mayo likes what he sees in Mac Jones, Bailey Zappe, or a veteran free agent. If so, drafting Marvin Harrison Jr. gives them a reliable weapon for whichever quarterback to find downfield. Harrison gave Ohio State a go-to player vertically, something that the Patriots will love in their offense.
4) Arizona Cardinals: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Arizona needs someone who can stretch the field, and that one player could elevate the efficiency of the offense immediately. Kyler Murray needs someone who can open the field for the passing attack. If teams must worry about the deep ball, the short routes and Murray’s running ability become even more dangerous.
Malik Nabers keeps gaining traction this offseason and has pushed Harrison for the WR1 spot, according to some analysts. Nabers has been linked to several different teams in the top 10, and the Cardinals grab him here in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
5) Los Angeles Chargers: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
With the Quentin Johnston era already considered a flop, the Chargers look to address their pass catchers this offseason. Justin Herbert deserves better, and new head coach Jim Harbaugh wants to give his franchise QB more talented options.
Brock Bowers brings versatility to the offense. He lined up in many positions for Georgia and would do the same in Los Angeles. He’s an explosive player who opens up the playbook and would give Herbert a reliable target downfield.
6) New York Giants: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
If Daniel Jones can develop as a passer, then the Giants’ offense is in good hands. With Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt already on the roster, the passing attack has some weapons already in place. But New York needs another player to create more havoc in the opposing secondary, which they’ll get with Rome Odunze.
At 6’3″ and 215 pounds, Odunze adds good size to New York’s passing attack. He was the best receiver for the Washington Huskies, and he’s been in the mix for top receiver prospect in this 2024 NFL Draft class.
7) Tennessee Titans: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
If Tennessee wants Will Levis to realize his potential, the Titans must give him the proper protection up front. Offensive line play needs to improve for the franchise, and Tennessee will have options at this spot to upgrade.
Joe Alt is a massive player at 6’8″ and 315 pounds, and his elite play makes him a top pick. Alt’s incredibly athletic for his size, so he’s a player who could put together some breathtaking highlights for a lineman.
8) Atlanta Falcons: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
At least one of the quarterbacks in this class will fall — it’s just a matter of whom. While there isn’t a consensus on Jayden Daniels, the potential in his game makes him an intriguing option for many teams.
Daniels will find NFL longevity if he can harness his desire to take massive hits while running. He took huge steps this past year as a passer, and it’s a big reason why he’s considered a first-round pick.
Atlanta’s offense could have a huge season with the right quarterback in place. Daniels, pairing with Bijan Robinson in the backfield, would spark excitement in the fan base.
9) Chicago Bears: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
With the Bears solidifying the QB position, they focus on defense with their second selection of this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. The edge of the defense needs an upgrade, and a solid class gives them options. Throw in that most other early-picking teams need more help offensively, and Chicago gets its pick at this spot.
Dallas Turner brings a nasty streak to the Bears’ defense. He’s a powerful player who can wreak havoc on the edge, and he plays through the whistle — a level of effort that sends a message to players who aren’t ready to give that level of commitment.
10) New York Jets: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
Everyone’s eyes are on Aaron Rodgers and what he’ll do in his return from an Achilles injury, so it’s almost a guarantee that the Jets will add players up front to ensure he doesn’t get hit as much this year.
Injuries and inconsistent play plagued New York this past year, so a player like Olu Fashanu gives them a higher floor. Fashanu’s an athletic tackle still on the rise, and his potential should give this fan base plenty to talk about heading into the 2024 season.
11) Minnesota Vikings: Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
With Minnesota beginning negotiations with Kirk Cousins, all eyes are on that storyline and how it will play out. Should a deal be struck, selecting a QB early in the 2024 NFL Draft becomes less of a priority.
Jared Verse gives the Vikings their future on the edge and will be tough to pass on regardless of the quarterback situation. If they can’t re-sign Danielle Hunter, Verse is the perfect replacement. He’s a powerful player with great traits and should thrive in Brian Flores’ system.
12) Denver Broncos: Johnny Newton, DT, Illinois
If Russell Wilson wants to win a couple more Super Bowls, Denver needs to bolster its roster quickly. The offense will need to upgrade, and at certain spots, the defense needs more difference-makers.
One way to be efficient in the draft is by taking players who can line up in multiple spots, which Johnny Newton did at Illinois. While he’s a natural tackle, Newton saw time at defensive end with the Illini, and he could do the same for the Broncos.
13) Las Vegas Raiders: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
With the top quarterbacks off the board in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the Raiders turn their attention to other positions. A QB will be in the cards later in the draft, but for now, they take someone to help their future franchise player make plays.
JC Latham‘s coming off an injury in the Rose Bowl, but there shouldn’t be too many concerns about him when healthy. He’s a big tackle who can be an anchor for Las Vegas’ offense, and it eases some concerns about having a young quarterback take over.
14) New Orleans Saints: Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
New Orleans must address the tackle position regardless of Ryan Ramczyk’s health going forward, and they’ll have options in this draft. The Saints boast a physical line, and they add another player who fits that mold.
Oregon State’s Taliese Fuaga comes in at 6’6″ and 330 pounds. He also brings great power in his frame to the New Orleans line. Fuaga’s a tough player to beat, and he’ll immediately upgrade this unit in 2024.
15) Indianapolis Colts: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
One of the best things about the draft is seeing analysts and scouts discover underrated players. The college football world watched these guys for years, and now they’re getting the recognition they deserve. Quinyon Mitchell‘s been a ball hawk for Toledo, but now he’s showing he’ll do it at the next level too.
Mitchell thrived at the Senior Bowl, which launched his draft stock into the first round. He has elite speed to run with receivers and gives the Colts a shutdown player in the secondary.
16) Seattle Seahawks: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
Another player who elevated his draft stock in Mobile, Jackson Powers-Johnson gives Seattle a tough player on the interior offensive line.

Powers-Johnson has all the tools to be an instant impact player, and his experience at Oregon will help him smoothly transition to the NFL. The Seahawks’ offense needs a few upgrades, and they get a significant one in the middle of Round 1.
17) Jacksonville Jaguars: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
I like the depth of this WR class, even if some of these potential first-round picks have questions hanging over their evaluation. Adonai Mitchell showed plenty of reasons why he should be a first-round pick, and his traits make up for the lack of production compared to some of the other receivers in this class.
If Jacksonville can get Calvin Ridley back, this will also set up well for Mitchell. Ridley’s experience that he can pass down to his young receiver helps the Jaguars in the short term, but it also aids Mitchell down the line.
18) Cincinnati Bengals: Ja’Tavion Sanders, TE, Texas
With Cincinnati giving Tee Higgins the franchise tag, there’s not as much of a need to identify a receiver early in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. But it still wouldn’t hurt to add another pass catcher to the mix, and they have the perfect option waiting for them.
Bowers is the clear top tight end in this class, but the gap between him and Ja’Tavion Sanders isn’t huge by any means. The Texas TE is a reliable pass catcher who plays the game hard, and he’d find plenty of favorable matchups with everyone focusing on Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase.
19) Los Angeles Rams: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
Like a couple of other positions, at least one cornerback could fall in the first round. Terrion Arnold could be one of them, but it’s not due to a lack of talent. The Los Angeles Rams see Arnold fall into their laps and should be happy if he does.
Arnold took big strides this year, but a lack of experience might impact his stock, creating more value for the team that selects him. The Alabama CB is a fierce competitor when the ball is in the air and has the traits necessary to be a great corner in the NFL.
20) Pittsburgh Steelers: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Regardless of position, Pittsburgh has needs on the offensive line. Pick center, guard, or tackle; the Steelers require someone to improve that unit. If they do, the offense has the potential to be one of the best this year. Of course, a boost at quarterback is also necessary.

Amarius Mims could be a top-10 pick if the right team wants him, but Pittsburgh gets elite value with him dropping this far. He can dominate his competition and moves well for a guy his size.
21) Miami Dolphins: Graham Barton, G, Duke
Miami must find a way to re-sign multiple offensive linemen in free agency. Otherwise, they’ll have to find someone in the draft.
There are a couple of players who bring versatility to their future team, with Graham Barton being one of them. Barton manned the LT spot for most of his career at Duke but can take over multiple positions for the Dolphins — including center.
22) Philadelphia Eagles: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
Philadelphia’s struggles in the secondary emerged this year in various forms, but they can fix that this offseason. With veterans to help the young rookies coming in, the Eagles are in a good spot to usher in a young corner.
Nate Wiggins is a competitor through and through. Ever since he walked onto Clemson’s campus, Wiggins fought to see the field and get to the NFL. He’ll enter another transition when he gets there, but the Eagles have the personnel to quickly get him up to speed.
23) Houston Texans (From CLE): Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Houston’s offense is young and promising, and looking to add another member. With this receiver class, the Texans should have multiple options available when they’re on the clock.

Keon Coleman was considered a potential top-10 pick when the season began, but his stock has dipped a little. The baseline should intrigue teams enough, and Coleman’s raw traits could make him a nightmare to cover in the NFL. Given enough time with the Texans, he could be a menace in the AFC South for a long time.
24) Dallas Cowboys: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
Dallas wants to contend for Super Bowls, and they know doing so requires a great offensive line. They’ve done well in adding talent to that group, but they need a long-term replacement for Tyron Smith.
Tyler Guyton comes in at 6’7″ and 328 pounds, so natural traits won’t be a problem, and his development at the next level could make him a long-time starter.
25) Green Bay Packers: Cooper DeJean, S, Iowa
Regardless of where Cooper DeJean plays in the NFL, he’ll find ways to win. He’s an underrated and explosive athlete who can be a versatile weapon in the secondary.
Throw in his abilities as a returner, and the Green Bay Packers get someone who can help them in numerous ways.
26) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
If Baker Mayfield truly sticks around in Tampa, the Bucs won’t be looking for a quarterback late in the first round. They can turn their attention to the defense, where the front seven looks to add a dynamic threat on the edge.
Laiatu Latu could get picked in the top 10 of this year’s draft, but he falls in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. He brings good size and length to the edge of Tampa’s defense and gives this group an explosive player who can get to the quarterback.
27) Arizona Cardinals (From HOU): Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas
With the Cardinals selecting Nabers earlier, the offense is in better hands. There are still some needs on that side of the ball, but Arizona’s defense also requires some help up front.
They could draft an edge player or even a corner, but the defensive tackle spot also needs upgrading. With Byron Murphy II still available, it shouldn’t be hard to decide.
28) Buffalo Bills: Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
With Gabe Davis potentially heading elsewhere in free agency, Buffalo must find his replacement.
While Troy Franklin isn’t a spitting image of Davis, he can be an explosive player for the Bills. Franklin has the speed to burn defensive backs, and his landing spot would allow him to learn from one of the best route runners in the league, Stefon Diggs.
29) Detroit Lions: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
Detroit’s looking to build off of a great 2023 season, but it knows the defense must improve. They might need a guard pending a move in free agency, and the WR group needs more depth. But the Lions also need a corner.
With Kool-Aid McKinstry still on the board in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, there’s not too much to debate here. The talented Alabama CB instantly improves the defense, a group that played well this past year but needs to raise its ceiling.
30) Baltimore Ravens: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
Baltimore requires a receiver in a bad way. Even with Zay Flowers back, the Ravens need more pieces for MVP QB Lamar Jackson to find downfield. Insert Brian Thomas Jr., a big-time vertical threat who can open up the offense.
A better passing attack allows Jackson more room to operate, and his legs can do more damage, too. Thomas took big strides this year with LSU and proved a reliable player deep downfield, allowing the Tigers to move the ball more explosively.
31) San Francisco 49ers: Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
If Chase Young returns, the 49ers will look elsewhere, but it will be tough to get him back, given the money his skill set may command. A cheaper route would come through the draft, and Chop Robinson should still be available here.
Robinson is long and explosive on the edge, and he’s proven to be a major problem for opposing teams as a pass rusher. He’s still relatively raw at his position, but the upside is hard to deny.
32) Kansas City Chiefs: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Protecting Patrick Mahomes should always be a priority in Kansas City, and they address that in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
