Russell Wilson and his wife, Ciara, have been out of the Seattle area for some time now after the NFL quarterback was traded to the Denver Broncos back in March 2022. The couple still have a significant financial investment left in the area, however, as they have not been able to sell their multi-million dollar home there to this point and recently dropped the price.
Russell Wilson Still Looking To Sell Seattle-Area Home
Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks made waves back in 2022 when the quarterback was dealt to the Broncos in a blockbuster move.
The Broncos received Wilson and a 2022 fourth-round draft pick in the move, while Seattle received quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, and DL Shelby Harris, three draft picks in 2022, and two more selections in 2023. Denver gave up its first-round and second-round selections in both years, along with its fifth-round pick in 2023.
Wilson put his house up for sale back in 2022 with an asking price of $36 million but hasn’t received any takers in the nearly two years since then. Forbes reported Wednesday that the asking price has now been dropped to $26 million.
The price certainly remains hefty, but it’s the cost of acquiring such a decked-out property.
The house sits on quite an impressive property in Bellevue, Washington, which is located just outside Seattle. It’s on the shore of Lake Washington with views of the downtown Seattle skyline alongside an expansive backyard, two-story treehouse, and access to the water, with a three-slip boat dock to boot.
The interior is plenty impressive as well, featuring a 20-foot-tall entry rotunda and more than 11,000 square feet of space with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
It comes with a well-furnished kitchen as well that holds a massive refrigerator and quite a bit of cabinet space. The sizable kitchen also has an eight-burner stove and a 14-foot-long island with ample seating space for get-togethers or simply eating meals together away from the dining room.
The living room holds plenty of amenities as well, including an ornate fireplace and plenty of windows showcasing views of Lake Washington. Not to mention the luxurious primary suite, which has a private balcony, fireplace, sitting room, and 200 square feet of closet space. The bathroom is covered in marble with a large soaking tub.
Other amenities of the house include a movie theater, dance/yoga studio, three large play spaces, and a three-car garage. An elevator connects all three floors of the palatial accommodations.

It seems safe to say someone will be interested in acquiring the luxurious house at some point, though the high price tag could certainly continue to elongate the process.
