Chicago Bears RB D’Onta Foreman has been a productive journeyman fantasy football running back with three different teams over the last three seasons. As he enters yet another offseason as an unrestricted free agent, what is the veteran RB’s dynasty value heading into 2024?

This means he has produced a singular monster fantasy performance for the Bears, Tennessee Titans, and Carolina Panthers over the last three seasons.
Foreman has flashed true fantasy potential when given a leading ball carrier role but has never entered any season of his NFL career slated to be the starting running back of his team.
This makes him an intriguing dynasty asset because he has proven on multiple occasions that he can be a productive handcuff when pressed into an extended role. However, dynasty managers can’t predict who he will be playing for year over year.
Unfortunately, the running backs projected to become available this offseason are among the strongest groups in recent memory. This doesn’t exactly make it any easier to place expectations on Foreman for 2024. Lastly, Foreman turning 28 later this year is another factor starting to potentially work against him in the very near future.

Should You Trade Foreman in Dynasty?
Are you considering trading Foreman? Our free PFN Trade Analyzer allows you to find the best trade offer to make in seconds!
Foreman is a very capable back who has managed some very productive fantasy performances in three straight years. The issue lies with having no idea when those games are going to present themselves.
The trade market for him in your dynasty league is painfully difficult to predict because his situation continues to remain unstable.

Is it possible he signs another one-year deal with a backfield that holds an open competition heading into the season? Sure, but Foreman even lost the competition to start last year in Chicago, which was evident by the fact he was a healthy scratch in Week 2.
If you can get a fourth-round rookie pick or a younger prospect, then I would be willing to cash out on Foreman ahead of the 2024 season.
