Is Travis Kelce in Australia for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour? Breaking Down Kelce’s Schedule After Super Bowl Win

After winning Super Bowl 58, Travis Kelce has had a busy schedule. Now, he's in Melbourne for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. How does his schedule break down?

Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl 58, officially securing the claim to back-to-back titles. Taylor Swift, who’s been infamously dating Kelce, even made it to the game despite her international Eras Tour.

Now, Swift is back on her international tour in Melbourne, Australia. Is Kelce joining her there?

Is Travis Kelce in Australia for Taylor Swift’s Concert?

Swift’s tour stopped in Tokyo before she made it to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl. Her tour officially resumed in Melbourne on Friday, Feb. 16. With one day already done, she will host two more concerts on Feb. 17 and 18.

Immediately following the win on Feb. 11, Swift and Kelce were both seen out celebrating in Las Vegas. The two then traveled back to Kansas City in preparation for the city-wide celebration.

Next, Kelce celebrated the Chiefs’ victory on Wednesday, Feb. 14 in the Super Bowl parade. Despite the close call, Kelce is in Melbourne for the concert, according to US Magazine. “I am not planning anything after this Super Bowl; I am just focused on this game right now. But I’d love to experience Down Under,” Kelce said before the big game.

To make it, Kelce had to leave almost immediately. He needed to be in Australia by 6 p.m. local time, which is 2 a.m. ET. A flight from Kansas City to Melbourne would be roughly 19 hours.

However, there was a shooting following the Chiefs’ parade that left one dead and more than 20 wounded. Swift later donated $100,000 to the family of the local radio host who was killed. “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss,” Swift wrote.

When Swift walked on stage for her first show, she saw a record-breaking number of fans, nearly reaching 100,000. “If I seem a little bit like I’m losing my mind over the fact that there are 96,000 people here tonight … it’s because it’s true. This is the biggest show that we’ve ever done,” Swift said.

After performing in Melbourne at the MCG, the city’s famous cricket field, Swift will go to Sydney, where she will perform four shows from Feb. 23-26. She’ll then travel to Singapore for the next leg of her journey. While it’s not officially known, Kelce will likely join her as his NFL season is now over.

Swift’s tour will take another lengthy break in March, as she will prepare to resume over the summer for a long European leg. Kelce had previously only made it to the Buenos Aires, Argentina, show during a bye week due to his football obligations. However, he will now have the chance to make many more tour dates through the rest of the year.
