Since being selected as Mr. Irrelevant in the 2022 NFL Draft, quarterback Brock Purdy has exceeded all expectations. After winning the San Francisco 49ers‘ starting job, he led the team to Super Bowl LVIII, where they lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in overtime.
Now that he’s in the limelight, there’s a lot more interest in his personal life, including who he is dating. Let’s break down his love life.
Is 49ers QB Brock Purdy Married?
Yes, Purdy is married to his college sweetheart, Jenna Brandt. They got engaged in July 2023, and then they tied the knot in March 2024.
Purdy got on one knee for a reason other than kneeling out the clock, asking his girlfriend Brandt to marry him.

“My Jenna girl forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. Here’s to forever babe. I love you JB!” the 49ers QB wrote alongside engagement photos he posted on Instagram.
In a separate post, Brandt wrote, “WE GET TO DO LIFE TOGETHER…FOREVER! Brock Purdy – I love everything about you & your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”
Brandt and Purdy had been together for over a year and a half when they got engaged, including prior to his NFL success. Much like his quick and decisive decisions on the field, Purdy wasted no time securing his future with Mrs. Purdy.
Who Is Jenna Brandt?
Purdy and Brandt first met while attending Iowa State University, where Brandt was a setter for the volleyball team and a kinesiology major.
Brandt ultimately transferred to the University of Northern Iowa in 2021, but the couple clearly stayed in touch and made their relationship work long distance.

Brandt grew up in Sumner, Iowa, with her parents, Kevin and Amy Brandt. She’s the oldest of her siblings: Kaylyn, Isaiah, and Morgan. Brandt attended Sumner-Fredericksburg High School, where she played volleyball and ran track and field before committing to Iowa State.
Brock and Jenna have a strong bond, and their family and faith seem very important to them. They are both high-level athletes and they connected over their their sport backgrounds.
Now, Brandt has been there every step of the way for the young quarterback, who is poised to become one of the highest-paid players in the NFL after this season.
“Family time is big to me. I love hanging out with my family,” Brandt said in an introductory video for her Iowa State team, adding, “I also like to volunteer around the community.”
