With the Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl complete, the 2024 NFL Draft edges closer daily. In our latest 2024 NFL Mock Draft, we look at which players elevated their draft stock in the all-star game process, and why the Washington Commanders could pass on an elite quarterback.
2024 NFL Mock Draft
1) Chicago Bears (From CAR): Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Chicago has an important decision ahead of them, and what they decide to do with Justin Fields will shift fan expectations for this year and beyond. In this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the Bears move on from their franchise quarterback in favor of an electric playmaker.
LeBron-like or not, Caleb Williams can play. His ability to escape pressure this year was on full display, and he’ll need to do the same with Chicago. The Bears need improvement at the quarterback position, and drafting Williams gives them that in the long run.
2) Washington Commanders: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
One of new Commanders’ head coach Dan Quinn’s big decisions is what to do at quarterback. His evaluation of Sam Howell dictates Washington’s draft plans, and a favorable result means that Howell is the future of the franchise. That being said, he’ll need protection.
Washington decides in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft that Drake Maye isn’t in their cards, but adding a tackle to protect their former Tar Heel QB will be. Joe Alt brings a massive frame to the Commanders’ offensive line and upgrades an offense that could be electric this season.
3) New England Patriots: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
New England is in a tough spot with only two quarterbacks that are sure-fire top-five picks, but they get lucky here with Washington passing on Drake Maye. Jerod Mayo and his staff are evaluating the roster, and it’s evident that a new QB is needed.
Maye gives the Patriots a talented passer who can make any throw on the field. Additionally, he brings an athletic frame to the offense that will help him avoid pressure and pick up yards when nothing’s available downfield.
4) Arizona Cardinals: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
Even if Arizona isn’t thrilled with Kyler Murray, they may have to stick with him for one more year. It will be tough to pass on Marvin Harrison Jr. if he falls to the Cardinals, as he gives Arizona their WR1 of the future. Harrison can help Murray, too.

The Cardinals’ QB needs a vertical threat in the passing game, and Harrison is exactly that. He gave Ohio State a reliable pass catcher at every level this past year, and he’ll get Arizona’s passing attack back on track.
5) Los Angeles Chargers: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
Unless the Chargers seriously address the secondary in free agency, they must draft a corner. After struggling to defend the pass in 2024, Los Angeles decides enough is enough with their pick.
Terrion Arnold brings the right mindset to this defense. While he still has a few aspects of his game that need work, Arnold is a competitor. His aggressive style of play puts him in a position to make plays, and he doesn’t hesitate. The Charger’s defense should improve just by him being in it.
6) New York Giants: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
The New York Giants are another team that could look at quarterback, but they’d need to move up in the draft to do so. Instead, they look up front to help their current situation under center.
Olu Fashanu‘s job is simple: keep the quarterback upright, no matter who that might be. With Daniel Jones and Tommy DeVito competing for the starting spot, giving them time to make a play will be a huge priority.
7) Tennessee Titans: Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
Those who knew Taliese Fuaga‘s game weren’t surprised by his performance at the Senior Bowl. He faced a couple of other first-round picks and reminded everyone why he’ll fly off the board quickly.
Tennessee needs an anchor on their offensive line, and Fuaga gives them that. Will Levis appears to be their quarterback of the future, and he’ll thank the organization for adding talent up front to help him. Fuaga’s a tough player who can dominate, and the rebuild in Nashville gets underway with him on the roster.
8) Atlanta Falcons: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
Atlanta could target Kirk Cousins or Baker Mayfield in free agency, but they might also like their draft options. With talent at the skill positions, the right signal-caller could make a huge difference.
In this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, the Falcons pair star RB Bijan Robinson with dual-threat Jayden Daniels. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner took huge strides this past year, and it’s a big reason why he’ll go in the first round.
9) Chicago Bears: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
After addressing their biggest need, the Bears add another weapon to their passing attack. New QB Williams will love throwing to DJ Moore, but telling him that he also gets Rome Odunze will give the USC quarterback enough reason to like life in Chicago.
It didn’t matter who Odunze played, he was going to find ways to get open and make plays. Even in the national championship loss to Michigan, Odunze had his way with Michigan’s secondary. He’s set to have a great rookie year, and the Bears could have a huge season if that comes true.
10) New York Jets: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
The Jets need a big year in 2024, and the offseason plays a huge role in ensuring success. One area they need to address is the weapons for Aaron Rodgers because only having Garrett Wilson won’t be enough.
Brock Bowers gives New York a versatile weapon who can line up all over the field and make plays. Georgia found creative ways to utilize him in their offense, so you can bet Rodgers and the Jets’ offense will do the same.
11) Minnesota Vikings: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
While Minnesota must address its QB situation this offseason, they don’t have to do so in Round 1 of the draft. There are options in free agency and the later rounds of the draft, so they can focus on best player available.
The Vikings need a difference-maker on the edge, with Danielle Hunter most likely leaving in free agency. Dallas Turner would be a great replacement, and he’d set the tone for Brian Flores’ defense. The Alabama star brings an edge to his game, and he’s a player who could step in and contribute immediately.
12) Denver Broncos: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas
Denver’s defense returns some pieces that could be incredibly exciting in 2024, but they’ll need to get help up front. Byron Murphy II‘s draft stock remains all over the place, but many believe his testing at the NFL Combine will boost his value.
Murphy’s an explosive player and could be the first defensive tackle selected in this class.
13) Las Vegas Raiders: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Vegas needs a quarterback, plain and simple. The problem is they need to give up a lot to move up or wait until Day 2 to get good value for one. So, instead, the Raiders draft a player who will make their future franchise player feel comfortable in the pocket.

An injury in the Rose Bowl raised concerns for JC Latham, but it shouldn’t affect his long-term value much. Latham brings a big frame to the Raiders’ offense and versatility to the line with his experience at guard and tackle with Alabama.
14) New Orleans Saints: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
New Orleans doesn’t look far to find their newest weapon in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. With Chris Olave on the rise, the Saints capitalize on their star receiver’s bright future by adding another.
Malik Nabers complements Olave well, and the offense won’t have any shortage of options when it comes to throwing the ball this year.
15) Indianapolis Colts: Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
Laiatu Latu has a strong case for the best edge player in the draft, so the Colts should feel good if they can get him at 15. Latu looked good at the Senior Bowl, and any concerns about his medicals shouldn’t exist once he finishes the NFL Combine.
16) Seattle Seahawks: Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
Add Jared Verse to the list of players in contention for top EDGE prospect, and Seattle’s lucky to get him in this mock. Verse is a former underdog who proved his worth with Florida State, and he’ll look to do the same with Seattle.
17) Jacksonville Jaguars: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Trevor Lawrence has his best football ahead of him; Jacksonville just needs to get the right pieces around him to help.
If Calvin Ridley’s gone, then drafting a receiver becomes essential in the draft. Keon Coleman‘s draft stock continues to fluctuate, but he should still be a first-round pick, regardless. If he falls to the Jaguars, the organization shouldn’t hesitate to call his name.
18) Cincinnati Bengals: Quinyon Mitchell, CB, Toledo
Anyone unfamiliar with Quinyon Mitchell‘s game no longer has that excuse after the Senior Bowl. The former Toledo star showed he could be a lockdown corner against better competition.

With this mock draft sending Mitchell to Cincinnati, buckle up for some epic practice battles between him and WR Ja’Marr Chase.
19) Los Angeles Rams: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Teams looking for a tone-setter up front should seriously consider Amarius Mims. When healthy, he’s a physical player who brings a vicious attitude to blocking.
The Rams appear to have their rebuild ahead of schedule, and adding Mims should spark even more excitement within the fan base.
20) Pittsburgh Steelers: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
Pittsburgh’s looking for help up front, and the draft provides them multiple options to address that need. The skill-position talent gives the Steelers hope for the future, but it won’t matter if they can’t handle things up front.
Jackson Powers-Johnson took his game to another level with Oregon this year, and now he’s pushing the first round of the draft. Powers-Johnson is a physical player who is also a fierce competitor, which should help him quickly win over the Steelers’ coaching staff.
21) Miami Dolphins: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
A disappointing end to their season left Miami with a sour taste in their mouth. With the amount of talent on both sides of the ball, anything less than a Super Bowl felt like a failure. In 2024, they’re looking to make sure they meet their goal.
Mike McDaniel has plenty of talent on offense, but he could upgrade the offensive line. Giving Tua Tagovailoa time to make plays will only help the offense, and Kingsley Suamataia would fill that role. He’s a big player looking to dominate his competition and will join an offense that actually has a pulse, unlike what he had this year at BYU.
22) Philadelphia Eagles: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
From poor effort to an aging group, Philadelphia needs to now address the secondary. They’ve seen plenty of highlights over the past couple of years, but it’s evident that the Eagles must build for the future.
With the veterans on the roster, Philadelphia will be able to get a guy like Kool-Aid McKinstry up to speed quickly. He’s a calm player capable of locking down some of the best receivers, and he’ll face plenty of that talent in the NFC East.
23) Houston Texans (From CLE): Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
Houston got an up close and personal view of what their potential future star receiver could do when Adonai Mitchell played in the College Football Playoff. The Texas Longhorns receiver put on a show against Washington, which solidified his draft stock as a potential first-rounder.

The Texans’ offense appears to be set with C.J. Stroud and Tank Dell leading the way, but it wouldn’t hurt to add another pass catcher. Mitchell didn’t put up gaudy numbers in his collegiate career, but his traits show he can be a difference-maker.
24) Dallas Cowboys: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
With the amount of talent at receiver in the NFC East, it wouldn’t be surprising to see teams boost their defensive backfields. Nate Wiggins gives Dallas a player who will compete like crazy at any level, giving them another good CB option.
Wiggins fought his way onto the field at Clemson, keeping that competitive spirit throughout his career. Throw in excellent speed and elevated ability to play the ball, and it’s easy to see why he’s a first-round pick.
25) Green Bay Packers: Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma
Another team ahead of schedule, the Green Bay Packers should feel good heading into 2024. Jordan Love appears to be the real deal, and the organization looks to protect him better next year.
In this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, they take Tyler Guyton, a player with significant upside. While his game still has areas to address, Guyton brings plenty of power and athleticism to handle life at the next level. If he thrives, the Packers’ offense should be terrifying this season.
26) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Graham Barton, G, Duke
With Ryan Jensen announcing his retirement, this pick felt obvious. An opening at center means the Buccaneers look to replace him as quickly as possible.
Luckily for them, Graham Barton is available. The former Duke star can play any position for the Bucs, but he fills their biggest need up the middle at center.
27) Arizona Cardinals (From HOU): Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
Forget the impact on the team for the Cardinals in this draft. Consider the potential battles they could have in practice if they pick a wide receiver and a corner in Round 1. If Arizona lands Harrison, they should take someone who will challenge him as much as possible.

Cooper DeJean continues flying under the radar in this class, though his testing should help elevate his draft stock. He’s an athletic player who can play multiple positions for Arizona and would push Harrison to become an even better receiver. It’s hard to beat that kind of value in the draft.
28) Buffalo Bills: Darius Robinson, EDGE, Missouri
One of the biggest risers from the Senior Bowl, Darius Robinson helped himself more than anyone in the last few weeks. Now, he joins a Bills defense that should only help him at the next level.
The monster out of Missouri displayed good power and great use of his hands to shed blockers, which will help him be disruptive for Buffalo’s front seven.
29) Detroit Lions: Jer’Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois
Detroit’s defense needs upgrades, but it’s also a unit that plays hard. After a great draft in 2023, the Lions look to stack good draft classes this year. They add to that defense in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft with Jer’Zhan Newton.
Newton was a wrecking ball at Illinois and brings unique experience to the Lions’ defense. The Illini staff moved Newton across the line, giving him experience at tackle and end. While he’s not a traditional defensive end, Detroit can utilize Newton in certain packages.
30) Baltimore Ravens: T’Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas
Baltimore does need a receiver, and T’Vondre Sweat showed that he could help catch passes at the Senior Bowl. If that doesn’t work, he can always resort back to being a defensive tackle.
Sweat brings multiple years of experience starting for Texas, and he’s proven to be a tough player to block. His strength at the point of attack will open up plays for the talented Ravens behind him.
31) Kansas City Chiefs: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas
Kansas City continues to win no matter what their roster looks like, but they’re always looking to gain an edge. KC’s offense has some playmakers, but it never hurts to add a player with game-changing speed.
Xavier Worthy isn’t the biggest receiver, but he’s tough. He relies on speed and quickness to win, and he wins much more than he loses on any given route.
In this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, Worthy joins a Chiefs offense that could use a major vertical threat. Thanks to his win rate, he gives this offense several options.
32) San Francisco 49ers: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
San Francisco’s defense is one of the most entertaining groups to watch. They’re a good group and play the game extremely hard.
Adding a defensive player in the draft only gives the 49ers another weapon that can make life a nightmare for the opposing offense.
Kamari Lassiter is flying under the radar, which is weird to say about a Georgia Bulldog. The 49ers are okay with that though, as they add a player with the ball skills and size to compete at the NFL level.
