NFL Games Today: Is There Saturday Football Today?

While the Pro Bowl Games continue tomorrow, there are no NFL games on Saturday until the 2024 preseason. Super Bowl 58 kicks off next weekend, and the Pro Bowl Games Championship is tomorrow.

The NFC took a 12-6 lead over the AFC in the first six events, highlighted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ QB Baker Mayfield taking down Houston Texans’ rookie C.J. Stroud in the precision passing competition. With six more events kicking off tomorrow, here’s how to watch the rest of the NFL Pro Bowl Games, as well as the NFL flag football games today.

    NFL Pro Bowl Games Championship

    • Start time: 3 p.m. ET
    • Channel: ESPN, ABC, Disney XD
    • Live stream options: ESPN+, NFL+, Hulu + Live TV

The AFC has six more chances tomorrow to catch up to the NFC with some finals skills competitions and flag football games. Some final skills challenges include Gridiron Gauntlet, where a team of six players from each conference completes a challenging obstacle course.

The conference’s kickers will also be tested in Kick Tac Toe. The first kicker to complete a connecting line or hit five squares total will add three points to their conference’s total. Will the AFC overcome the six-point deficit and grab a win, or will the NFC keep their hold?

Although the Pro Bowl doesn’t always have the best reputation, some players expressed how grateful they were for the invite.

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert discussed how important being invited to the Pro Bowl was for him this season on his Relentlessly Motivated podcast.

“I had just come back from a knee surgery and I really wasn’t confident all that much in myself,” he said. “I mean, I was confident in my abilities, but I wasn’t confident in the fact that I was still dealing with the knee injury, the knee surgery, the procedure — everything that goes with it.

“And, so, I took upon myself that I’m just going to go ahead and set these goals that are achievable, being a Pro Bowler and doing everything that I possibly can to help the team win and put numbers up on the board and score touchdowns. That was my goal last year, and I was coming into this year with that attitude.”

Bears CB Jaylon Johnson was proud to have his name called for the first time in his career.

“It is special that God has blessed me with the opportunity and favor to be selected to my first Pro Bowl,” Johnson said. “I’m thankful for all of those who have played a role in my success, because when I win, we all win.”

    When Is Super Bowl 58?

With the Pro Bowl festivities wrapping up tomorrow, when does Super Bowl 58 kick off? The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs get an extra week of rest as they prepare for their Lombardi showdown in Las Vegas. Here’s how to watch Super Bowl 58.

    • Start time: Feb. 11, 6:30 p.m. ET
    • Channel: CBS
    • Live streaming options: YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Paramount+

The Chiefs surprised many after beating the AFC No. 1 seed Baltimore Ravens and making their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years. While QB Patrick Mahomes and the offense put the pieces together at the right time, their performance has seen ups and downs this year.

Mahomes remains dominant; however, he had the weakest supporting cast in his career. For the first time in his career, though, the Chiefs were fueled by a top-10 defense in the regular season due to the brilliant game planning of defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

While Spagnuolo has shined in the playoffs during Kansas City’s run with Mahomes, they’ve been on fire in 2023, allowing just 17.3 points per game. Can the Chiefs’ defense rattle 49ers’ QB Brock Purdy and help Kansas City win back-to-back Super Bowls?
