Is Taylor Swift Heading to the AFC Title Game? Details on if Grammy Winner Is Baltimore Bound

The AFC Championship Game has seen its share of celebrity appearances. Will newfound Kansas City Chiefs superfan Taylor Swift be at M&T Bank Stadium?

The NFL‘s Conference Championship weekend is often the event that brings out the celebrities before the Pro Bowl and the Super Bowl.

But this season, the year of “Swifties,” this weekend may witness the first Conference Championship game with Taylor Swift in attendance.

Details on if Taylor Swift Is Heading to Chiefs vs. Ravens

Swift has gone from Grammy-winning country/pop singer to a sudden Kansas City Chiefs superfan. She has dominated NFL headlines given her newfound allegiance to the Chiefs thanks to her romantic relationship with All-Pro tight end Travis Kelce.

Signs are indicating she’ll be there at M&T Bank Stadium to watch the Chiefs versus the top-seeded Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.

According to The Baltimore Sun on Monday, Jan. 22, Swift is expected to be in attendance for the AFC Championship Game with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.

Since her relationship sparked with Kelce, Swift has emerged as a pregame arrival on the Chiefs’ game days. Such was the case for the two playoff games Kansas City has won thus far.

Marked one of the coldest games of all time, Swift braved the frigid temperatures of Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs’ Wild Card win over the Miami Dolphins to kick off the postseason.

The following week, she appeared in Highmark Stadium in Buffalo during 25-degree weather to watch her Chiefs edge the Bills 27-24 to advance to the AFC Championship.

Swift Could Attend AFC Championship and Super Bowl if Chiefs Advance

Here’s why there’s a higher chance for Swift to be a regular at any remaining Kansas City games.

Her famed Eras Tour doesn’t start back up until Feb. 7, when she treks to Tokyo, Japan. As a result, Swift’s schedule is freed up for her to watch Kelce and the Chiefs on Sunday.

Furthermore, her Tokyo tour is set for four nights. That means Feb. 10 will be her final show. Her next tour stop after that isn’t scheduled until Feb. 16 in Australia.

If Kansas City advances to the franchise’s sixth Super Bowl appearance, Swift will have the opportunity to fly to Las Vegas for the big game on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium.

Of course, the Chiefs will have to defeat the favored Ravens first. After winning 13 games in the regular season and locking up the AFC’s No. 1 seed, Baltimore is believed by many NFL fans to be the most complete team in the league.

Kelce and the Chiefs are 3-2 together in the final AFC playoff game. They won last year’s contest over the Cincinnati Bengals before defeating the Philadelphia Eagles for the Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 57.

Kansas City is 8-3 overall this year when Swift is in attendance.
