One by one, NFL playoff teams have seen their hopes and dreams go up in smoke, and now just four teams remain in contention for the Super Bowl.
That means just one thing for fans of the other 28 franchises. It is officially 2024 NFL Mock Draft season.
1-Round NFL Mock Draft
1) Chicago Bears (From CAR): Caleb Williams, QB, USC
Mock drafts are going to be fun and unique throughout this entire process. Not only are we trying to get it right, but many are trying to be creative in their thinking, leading to a multitude of different situations that could unfold between now and April.
MORE: 2024 NFL Draft Scouting Reports
For as creative as I want to get, I see Caleb Williams going first overall in almost all scenarios. Things may get wild down the line, but unless something drastically changes, the Bears will turn this card in with confidence.
2) Washington Commanders: Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
It’s a new era in the nation’s capital, and with that comes the need for a fresh start at quarterback. The Commanders have a couple of options at their disposal, but in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, they lock in Jayden Daniels fresh off an impressive campaign for the LSU Tigers.
Daniels is a baller, a Heisman Trophy winner, and a dynamic dual-threat QB who can help ring in a new chapter of Commanders football.
3) New England Patriots: Marvin Harrison Jr., WR, Ohio State
In this scenario, the Patriots don’t love the remaining quarterbacks enough to take one despite the obvious need. Knowing that desperation, New England finds fewer trade partners willing to move up the board. As a result, they hold firm at No. 3 and take the best pure football player in the class, Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
The Ohio State Buckeyes wideout is dynamic, bringing instant high-powered offense to any team he joins. While the question of who will throw him the football remains, they have a truly talented pass catcher on the roster after years of the position being a concern for the Patriots.
4) Arizona Cardinals: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
The Cardinals could have gone a few different ways here with this pick, but after deciding to roll with Kyler Murray going forward, they landed him an elite playmaker to work with this 2024 NFL Mock Draft.
Malik Nabers is a gifted route runner and a home-run threat whenever he touches the ball. Despite his lack of elite size at the position, he’s a flat-out quality football player. Adding the young LSU WR to the Cardinals’ offense will bring some more big-play ability to a unit that will look to elevate in 2024.
5) Los Angeles Chargers: Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
Joe Alt is outstanding athletically — a former tight end turned tackle who brings a rare ability as a mobile big man in space with the mindset of a skilled player. What he can do within the parameters of the tackle position is excellent, and his engrained athletic traits make him all that more clean of a prospect.
The Chargers, with new head coach Jim Harbaugh, will want to collect as many good football players as possible, and they do that with the selection of Alt.
6) New York Giants: Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
The New York Giants need offensive weapons, and in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, they get one of the best in the class.
Rome Odunze is a true playmaker with the ball in his hands, and with the Giants needing to give Daniel Jones more help on the outside, the Washington wide receiver is the perfect fit to bring a spark to their offense.
7) Tennessee Titans: Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
When a fit makes too much sense, don’t deviate from it. This is the case with Olu Fashanu who is frequently paired with the Tennessee Titans in early 2024 NFL Mock Drafts. The Penn State Nittany Lions offensive tackle can be a plug-and-play prospect for a Titans team that could look vastly different next season with a new head coach.
8) Atlanta Falcons: Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
In what may surprise some, Drake Maye falls to the eighth pick, and the Atlanta Falcons are thankful for the gift. There seem to be questions about how the QB order will fall this draft season, but if this 2024 NFL Mock Draft scenario were to come true, it would be hard for the Falcons not to pull the trigger on the selection.
With good size, ability, and arm strength, Maye is a quality pick for an Atlanta team looking to change the fortunes of a franchise after the failed Desmond Ridder debacle.
9) Chicago Bears: Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
Chicago secured its future face of the franchise with its first pick in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft, and now they shore up their defense with the best pure pass rusher in the draft. Two highly important positions handled within the first 10 picks of the draft would bring a smile to the face of even the most hardened Bears fan.
With the ability to bend the edge with the best of them in this class, Dallas Turner has the tools to have an immediate impact this year.
10) New York Jets: JC Latham, OT, Alabama
The New York Jets are fresh off a disappointing season where nothing went at all how they thought it was going to. They have many pressing needs heading into the offseason, but in this scenario, they land a secure pass protector in JC Latham, maintaining the hope of keeping Aaron Rodgers upright. If the Jets want the former Packer to make the impact they expected upon his arrival, upgrading the offensive line is a must.
11) Minnesota Vikings: Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
Another selection in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft where taking the best player available makes the most sense. Alabama cornerback Terrion Arnold is a popular selection for the Minnesota Vikings, and he lands in Minneapolis, Minn., once again.
Arnold has shown an ability to be comfortable in man or zone and has seemingly grown at the position every year in college. The best is yet to come for him, and a Vikings secondary that was carved up on occasion in 2023 may be the beneficiary of that development sooner rather than later.
12) Denver Broncos: Jer’Zhan Newton, DT, Illinois
Jer’Zhan Newton would be a quality pick here for the Denver Broncos. It won’t be flashy. It won’t draw the headlines, but it is a move that an organization that wants to win will make. The former Illinois defensive tackle can come in and be a presence in the middle of the Denver defense and has a chance to be a plug-and-play piece for a Broncos team looking to be a threat in 2024.
13) Las Vegas Raiders: Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
The Raiders are doing backflips about Brock Bowers dropping to No. 13 in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. Antonio Pierce might run this card in himself, as he adds an absolute dog to his offense. Adding a premier tight end who can play in-line and out wide, block, catch, and everything in between is always a good thing. The fact he was here organically without a trade-up is even better.
14) New Orleans Saints: Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
Any way you look at it, the Saints need to get Derek Carr some more protection. He was running for his life all season, and adding Oregon State Beavers standout Taliese Fuaga to the mix will surely help that cause quite a bit.
15) Indianapolis Colts: Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
The Indianapolis Colts have to feel good about UCLA outside linebacker Laiatu Latu falling to them in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. The highly productive pass rusher brings instant disruption off the edge for their defense. Pass protection and pass disruption are how you win in the NFL. Adding Latu to the latter makes the Colts a better football team from day one.
16) Seattle Seahawks: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
The Seahawks struck gold with Devon Witherspoon in last year’s draft, and they go back to the well again in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. Pairing Witherspoon with Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry gives Seattle one of the best young cornerback partnerships in the NFL.
MORE: 2024 NFL Draft Big Board
McKinstry’s skills will transcend schemes at the NFL level, and having a young CB who you know you can trust on the outside is worth its weight in gold during this era of NFL football.
17) Jacksonville Jaguars: Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
A rare athletic talent, Cooper DeJean adds unique skill to the group and has a chance to come in and make an immediate impact both on defense and special teams.
If you’re just drafting pure football players, it’s tough to argue with the selection of DeJean here for the Jags.
18) Cincinnati Bengals: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
It’s one of a handful of cases where the fit made too much sense — Keon Coleman to the Bengals just feels right.
Coleman is a big-bodied WR capable of going up and getting the ball. He would be a welcomed addition to a pass-catching group that Joe Burrow can continue to thrive with for 2024, regardless of who they lose in free agency.
19) Los Angeles Rams: Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Amarius Mims to the Rams adds a talented big-bodied tackle to the mix and keeps their offense humming, knowing the protection will be on point. His ability to move defensive linemen in the run game will complement L.A.’s offense.
20) Pittsburgh Steelers: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
The Steelers got Joey Porter Jr. in the 2023 NFL Draft. A year later, they get someone to pair with him, forming a dynamic young duo on the outside.
The NFL is all about the passing game and the onslaught of receiving threats. Adding Nate Wiggins to your defensive backfield will go a long way in ensuring you can keep these playmakers at bay.
21) Miami Dolphins: Troy Fautanu, OG, Washington
A team full of speed options needs more beef and protection in the middle. Troy Fautanu brings exactly that to South Beach.
In what is a track-meet-style offense, adding big men up front to keep Tua Tagovailoa healthy will be a priority for the Dolphins. A clean pocket means more time for explosive plays and more touchdowns for an already potent offensive attack.
22) Philadelphia Eagles: Jeremiah Trotter Jr., LB, Clemson
The Eagles can go several different ways here with cornerback being a popular prediction. While it’s true that Philly had issues in the secondary, adding Jeremiah Trotter Jr. to his father’s old team feels right for every reason, not just for his namesake.

The Eagles need size and athleticism in that defensive interior, and the Clemson LB answers the bell here.
23) Houston Texans (From CLE): Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
A defense that added Will Anderson last year sees another quality pass rusher fall in their lap. The tandem of Anderson and Jared Verse would complement a young offense that hit a home run with the drafting of C.J. Stroud, adding to the Texans’ newfound legitimacy.
The Texans have been doing all the right things as of late, and taking Verse as he falls to them here is another example.
24) Dallas Cowboys: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
A dynamic, big-bodied WR threat stays home and elevates an already quality Cowboys offense. Dallas has needs on defense, specifically at linebacker, and it couldn’t hurt to add offensive line help either. However, with the chance to fix that later, they snag a falling weapon falling here.
Adonai Mitchell can go up and make plays — he will be a nice addition to a Cowboys offense that saw CeeDee Lamb have a historic season. More weapons for America’s Team is never a bad idea.
25) Green Bay Packers: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
A road grader as a run blocker (but still refining his skills as a pure pass protector), Kingsley Suamataia can solidify a Packers offensive line and bring some more nasty to the group.
There is still more growth to be had for the BYU tackle, but the future is bright. If put into a quality situation early on, he can shorten his learning curve — the Packers may be just that for him.
26) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Michael Penix Jr., QB, Washington
An interesting decision here that could shake things up for Tampa Bay. With an uncertain future for Baker Mayfield, and not much else to build on in the QB room, the Bucs could choose to re-sign Mayfield and add a QB for the future.
It isn’t too common these days, but Michael Penix Jr. in Tampa may be a perfect situation for a player who has a chance to play in the not-so-distant future but has a chance to get integrated into an NFL system.
27) Arizona Cardinals (From HOU): Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
This feels like an absolute steal for the Cardinals. Their second first-round draft pick happens to be a pass rusher who falls to them. Chop Robinson’s ability to get after the pass rusher and use his athleticism to navigate space and cause havoc will make him a lot of fun on an already talented Cardinals defense.
28) Buffalo Bills: Brian Thomas Jr., WR, LSU
With Gabe Davis potentially out the door as a free agent, adding more big-bodied weapons to the pass-catching group for Josh Allen isn’t a bad thing.
Brian Thomas Jr. can take the top off a defense, and he has a nice blend of size and speed that this Bills offensive staff can take advantage of.
29) Baltimore Ravens: Graham Barton, OG, Duke
This is a sensational pick for the Ravens here. The Ravens are getting a player who can play all over the offensive line.
Graham Barton has played tackle in college, projects to be a guard at the next level, and some believe he can play center as well. The Ravens have built from the inside out and have complemented Lamar Jackson and Co. quite nicely. Adding Barton to the mix is just what a quality front office would do.
30) San Francisco 49ers: Kalen King, CB, Penn State
The only place you can poke a hole in the 49ers’ defense is at cornerback. With Kalen King added to the mix, it solidifies that spot a bit more.
More quality work from the back-end cover guys will only allow for the assortment of pass rushers to feast more and free the dynamic linebackers to roam and make plays.
31) Detroit Lions: Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami
The Lions have a reliable crop of safeties already, with a healthy mix of different abilities. Adding Kamren Kinchens at this point is a value pick and allows Detroit to get younger at the position, waving goodbye to expiring contracts down the road if they choose.
32) Kansas City Chiefs: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
The Chiefs’ defense has been a solid unit all season long, sustaining the team at times when the offense was stagnant.
Adding Kamari Lassiter gives this secondary a play-making piece of the puzzle. The Chiefs have found ways to be scrappy, and Lassiter can bring the ferocious play style to bolster the defense moving forward.
