Bills WR Gabe Davis Goes Viral After Yelling at Fans After Loss to Chiefs

    Published on

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis got into it with fans after the team's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round on Sunday.

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are a playoff mountain that the Buffalo Bills haven’t yet been able to conquer. Sunday’s Divisional Round loss was just another reminder of that fact, and despite having the Chiefs at home for a change, the Bills still lost 27-24.

It’s a tough pill to swallow for a Bills team that was playing quality football at the end of the year, inspiring confidence that this may be the best shot to get over the hump. Those feelings can conjure up emotion, especially in the moment, which is exactly what happened for Bills WR Gabe Davis, who let it be known in real time to the fans in attendance.

The Bills’ loss came down to the wire with a converted first down following a Tyler Bass field goal that missed wide right, sealing their fate. Naturally, that pain in the moment can drum up a real-time reaction from players deeply invested in that moment.

Such is the case for Davis and despite him not participating in the contest due to injury, he still had raw emotion following the loss — and pointed words towards the crowd as a result.

It was an ugly scene between players and fans, and was further evidence of how raw the emotion was at that moment for all parties involved. What exactly started the war of words, or what exactly is being said in totality is unknown from the video, but it’s clear that the displeasure is shared between player and fan.

A sad way to end a season, and with Davis being a free agent this offseason, it could also be his final moment in Buffalo as a Bill as well.

Former Buffalo Bills Teammate Supports Davis

Who knows you better than a teammate who you share a position with?

With the latest video going viral and making the rounds on the internet, former Bills WR Cole Beasley got his eyes on the altercation and took to social media to throw support Davis’ way.

“Crazy thing is gabe is about that life. Gabe is prolly the biggest dog on that team. You start losing dogs your team starts falling off the cliff. Bills fans don’t understand what they are about to lose,” Beasley said in defense of his former teammate.

With Davis set to hit the free agent market, Beasley is warning Buffalo fans to be careful of what they wish for. If Davis is somewhere else next year, Beasley believes that Bills Mafia will miss the receiving threat.
