Are Sportsbooks Offering Refunds on Deebo Samuel Bets?

In tonight’s NFC Divisional Round matchup between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers, star wide receiver Deebo Samuel left the game early in the first half due to injury and was later ruled out for the game.

Given the hype around this playoff matchup, there was a lot of betting interest in the game, and on Samuel player props and touchdown scorer markets in particular. Prior to leaving the game, Samuel only had two receptions for 24 yards and zero touchdowns in limited action.

Given Samuel’s game-ending injury, did any sportsbooks offer refunds to customers who placed bets on the 49ers wide receiver? We break it all down below and will have updates throughout the evening as we see them on social media.

Which Sportsbooks Are Offering Refunds on Deebo Samuel Bets?

We have seen sportsbooks offer refunds for bets involving players who suffer a game-ending injury in a prime-time game in the past, with one example being Aaron Rodgers on Monday Night Football in Week 1. Given that Samuel’s injury happened early in the first half of a night game, this certainly falls into that category.

So far, only DraftKings Sportsbook has informed their customers on social media that they’ll be refunding bets on Samuel. Specifically, straight bets and parlays where Samuel was the only losing leg.

While DraftKings is the only sportsbook that has provided an update, that doesn’t mean they’ll be the only operator offering refunds on losing Samuel bets. We’ll provide updates here throughout the evening as we see them, but if you took an over for a Samuel bet at DraftKings, it’s nice to know that you’ll be getting your money back.
