The New York Giants ended the regular season on a high note, beating the Philadelphia Eagles despite not making the playoffs. New York shifts their focus to the offseason as they hold the sixth-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Can the Giants find future talent with their four picks within the first 70 of the draft?

New York Giants 7-Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft
The defense will have a different look with defensive coordinator Wink Martindale resigning, but it’s the offense that will need the focus during the offseason. Running back Saquon Barkley might not be returning to the Giants’ blue uniforms, and the offensive line needs an overhaul after allowing a league-leading 85 sacks.
New York might not be able to get their OL of the future early in the draft, but there are plenty of skill players that can help quarterback Daniel Jones or another starter. These mock draft picks are based on the current picks the Giants have, and no trades will be made.
Round 1, Pick 6: Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
In 2023, the Giants’ wide receivers combined for just nine touchdowns, and Darius Slayton led the team in receiving yards with 770. While New York has a solid receiving corps, they don’t have a No. 1 receiver that can take over a game.

Malik Nabers was one of the best receivers in the country with big-play potential, finishing second in the country in receiving yards (1,569) and tied for third in receiving touchdowns (14). Nabers is a deep threat who will use his speed to produce big players and will benefit from working with a quarterback who has a big arm like Jones.
Round 2, Pick 39: Donovan Jackson, G, Ohio State
It’s already been documented the struggles the Giants have had on the offensive line, allowing 20 more sacks than the second team on the sacks allowed rankings. Multiple different lineups and injuries derailed the season.
In comes Ohio State guard Donovan Jackson — arguably the best pass-protecting guard in the draft — who earned two first-team All-Big Ten selections. Jackson’s physicality and lower body strength to stand up as a pass rusher can put him in the starting lineup in Year 1.
Round 2, Pick 47: Trey Benson, RB, Florida State
Barkley could be on his way out the door after six years filled with three 1,000-yard seasons and injuries the rest of the way. It would be a surprise if New York brought him back after the team used a franchise tag on him with disappointing results.
Trey Benson could fill in. He plays a similar style as a physical, but quick and versatile back. Benson’s speed out in the open field with his pass-catching abilities could see him as the 2024 version of Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson.
Round 3, Pick 70: Calen Bullock, S, USC
Two of the Giants’ top four tacklers in 2023 were safeties. The problem is Xavier McKinney, who is second on the team in tackles with 116, will be a free agent and could get looks from several teams. A replacement will most likely need to be found.
USC junior safety Calen Bullock would be able to fill in, as he’s not only a physical tackler but does well in coverage. While he tends to lay a big hit instead of wrapping up, Bullock has great instincts and can stop the run in the box when asked to do so.
Round 4, Pick 103: Tommy Eichenberg, LB, Ohio State
Several New York linebackers, including Isaiah Simmons, are entering free agency. If Simmons is brought back, that still will leave the team with depth concerns, so they might need to look in the draft for reinforcement.

Tommy Eichenberg has spent the last four seasons at Ohio State consistently being one of their leading tacklers. He has great instincts in run support to find the ball carrier. He has good foot quickness and follows good angles to find the best path to make the tackle.
Round 5, Pick 134: Johnny Dixon, CB, Penn State
Top Giants cornerback Adoree’ Jackson enters free agency making New York fans nervous their secondary could take a hit. They should target Jackson for a return, but New York could look to the draft to get some help to develop a young corner in case he doesn’t come back.
Johnny Dixon has been one of Penn State’s top cornerbacks over the last two seasons. While his coverage skills were on display in 2022, 2023 saw Dixon do more than help in pass coverage, racking up 4.5 sacks during the season. Dixon could play both safety and corner in the NFL, as the Giants can move him around.
Round 6, Pick 167: Sam Hartman, QB, Notre Dame
There are questions surrounding the QB position after Jones’ injury and poor play had the Giants’ offense taking a step back. While Tommy DeVito and Tyrod Taylor had some nice moments, it may not be a bad idea to take a risk on a quarterback who won in college.
Sam Hartman put up big numbers at Wake Forest and started strong for Notre Dame before tripping up down the stretch. Hartman has a quick release and can use his mobility to make plays, too. A lack of arm strength hurts his status, but grabbing him in the sixth round would be a good steal and a player Brian Daboll can develop.
